I normally stay at one of the bigger hotels but they were charging stupid money for a room. Took a punt on the Maples based on the reviews. Best thing I have done!. Imperial Hotel has lost a customer as a result. Limited parking at the front though got a space. Additional paid parking nearby. Location is great near to Gynn Square and a short walk to the tram stop. The welcome was warm and friendly throughout our stay (1 night). They couldn't do enough for us. Went for a sea view room. The rooms are not big however it was spotlessly clean and of the hundreds of hotel rooms I have stayed in I can honestly say that this room had the cleanest bathroom I had ever seen. It was if it was new. Breakfast was really tasty and with a nice big pot of coffee. Very much appreciated. It was a great stay and I will be staying again in the future.

Visited for 2 nights 26th Nov-28th Nov in 2 small sea view rooms. Firstly to say the weather was cold and extremely windy is an understatement, it was difficult to walk and then a building collapsed so tram not running but these things happen! This was our 2nd time at The Maples and once again we received a very warm welcome. Myself and my son were in room 10 and my Mum in Law just below in room 4 both had a fabulous sea view. They are classed as small doubles but I have stayed in smaller and we found them more than adequate and really clean. My son and I had to share a bed which I wasn't expecting but it wasn't a issue although next time I would maybe book him his own room next to mine. One thing in the room I would change is the tv, it needs to be bigger and lower down on the wall. However there is a lounge with bar downstairs along with a tv should u need it. Breakfast was the usual cereals, toast and a super full English cooked to perfection. We could have parked right outside but we had already found a spot in the next street and the car was fine with a very short walk to the hotel. The lounge/bar is really lovely plus a pool table so use it as the drinks are so reasonably priced and Gary is great common. We will 100% return next year Thank You for your hospitality.

Back in Blackpool after around 2 years and first time had stayed at this hotel. Booked in for 3 nights and no complaints at all. It obviously is not the biggest place as are most guest houses/hotels of this style but owners and staff were lovely and helpful with anything we needed. Rooms were clean, warm and had everything you needed for a short stay. Breakfast included in our stay and this was fantastic and a great way to start the day! Although you are not right in the midst of the main hustle and bustle of Blackpool, which we don't mind as it is a lot quieter, there is a tram stop virtually right outside the front door and these run regularly all day and will have you at any of the piers, shops, the tower or pleasure beach within a matter of minutes. Thanks to everyone at the Maples for a lovely stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Booked this as a last minute break. Lovely welcome when you arrive, made to feel so welcome. Double room with ensuite, lovely and clean with tea and coffee. Bed was so comfortable too. Good breakfast in the morning, good quality sausage and bacon and all freshly cooked, set us up for the day. Couldn't fault it, and would stay again if we get a chance to go back. Thank you to all the staff, for a lovely visit.

Had a great few days at Maples hotel lovely family hotel, lovely breakfast, left like we had been visiting family. Will be back soon. Location was quiet ,within walking distance of town centre. Because of covid our hosts asked us every day if we needed anything in our room, nothing was a chore it was all done with a smile.

just back from a great stay at the maples hotel. Clean and comfortable room...1st class breakfast as always...thank you chef Malcolm! All the family are helpful and accommodating...couldn't have asked for better service or more perfect hosts! Lots of hand sanitisers in place and good social distancing rules...felt safe in the knowledge they had everything covered in these strange and challenging times. Well done to all.

Not going to really comment on this to much but we did have an issue with the heating and we did out of curtisey phone you to inform you, so then it was upto you to if you still wanted to stay or find another accommodation you said it was fine as we still had hot water but no heating. Your second point you didn't pay any one you booked through booking.com had to reserve booking with card no payment was made to booking.com, you then got ask to pay for room at hotel where the payment was due on arrival, but for some reason you thought you had already paid, we did say to phone booking.com to confirm, which you said you was going to do, but you just got back into your car and drove off. Never stayed to hotel..
