Decided to surprise my mother in law by joining her at The Manhattan hotel for a three night stay....Lovely unpretentious hotel...My double room was on the small side and situated at the rear of the hotel but adequate for my needs with a lovely comfy bed with good quality white cotton bedding...granted the en suite was a bit dated but...

Not too bad a hotel a little outdated but not too bad. Room was very cold only a small radiator at the door not big enough to heat the room. Bed was nice n comfy. Bathroom had a nasty smell every day. Staff were excellent food was great bar prices reasonable.

Took my daughter for her 6th birthday treat, cannot thank Mary and Brian enough the staff were outstanding even the small irish waiter he particuarly was a pleasure and made our stay much more pleasant will defo be back again xx

First class room with sea view,warm and very comfortable,along with a lovely dining area providing excellent food where attention to detail is certainly applied.The host's,Mary and Brian really give you a great welcome and along with all their staff make sure you enjoy your stay.we have been using the hotel for several years and look forward to many more visits.

My husband and I have just returned from a weekend at the Manhattan hotel. Brian and Mary who own the hotel are lovely people. The food was really good and the entertainment was first class. Visited this hotel as part of a group. Situated on the promenade not far from the North Pier within walking distance of the town centre. For those less mobile there are frequent buses or trams. Not the best by all means.. But can honestly say not the worst either. Food is ok. Room clean tidy..staff are very friendly. Would stay again for what we paid.. You get what you pay for..no less no more.
