Reluctantly given 1 star, if I could give a minus, I would. We visited here for a 3 night stay in Feb 2014. Admittedly knowing the weather to be slightly adverse on the way up, we still proceeded in anticipation only to be met with a mediocre basic facility within the 'hotel.' We was informed we wasn't booked in for...

Stayed here using a groupon deal so didn't expect too much but I definitely got my money's worth! Right next to a tram stop so easy and cheap to get around. The staff were lovely always asking what we were going to be upto and showing interest. Also got breakfast and dinner included which was really good! I would definitely...

Myself, husband and friends stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on 20th December which was booked through groupon. We had read the reviews before going and we're apprehensive about staying there. We needn't have worried, we were treated brilliantly by the staff especially John. So friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Yes the rooms need updating but they...

Just returned from an excellent value Groupon deal from this Hotel. Could not fault it. Parking out front, refurbished warm welcoming room with crisp clean linen and towels and comfy bed. Staff could not do enough to please. 4 course meal a nice surprise with a welcome glass of wine. Breakfast plenty for us. Located less than a minute from...

10 out of 10 to John who went out of his way to provide us with sandwiches for our journey back to Scotland. Even thou the hotel was quiet they still kept the bar open and tried their utmost to provide a first class service. Definitely worth another visit.

We stayed at the Long Eaton Hotel this weekend and could not find fault. The welcome was warm and friendly and our room was large with lovely new bed and new linens. All the amenities of a much more expensive hotel with hair dryer, television and hospitality tray. There was entertainment on in the evening and breakfast was first class....

Had a fantastic time. The hospitality was fantastic as was the entertainment. Ideally located for the sea front. Our bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up but we are glad we did as we were treated to the best breakfast ever when you are recovering from a great evening.

“We can only judge room 20. It's OK for a short stay. Slept well - no noise problems.”

“Try the premium room upgrade that was available to move to a four poster bed, flat screen TV and bottle of wine for a small fee! worth a pop if you can do it. If you want to explore Blackpool, try the Blackpool Resort Pass. It covers a lot of the good attractions, including the pleasure beach, tower, and Tussads and is incredibly good value. To get around get an all day tram pass. Trams make moving around Blackpool easy.”
