Having just returned from a 2 night stay , I can honestly say this is one of the most welcoming , clean and accommodating Bnb's I have stayed at. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The bar man 'Andy' was a great host and contributed to a wonderful evening. Lovely breakfast with lots of options and drinks at the bar were fantastic in price.

Hotel's Favourite
This is a very warm and friendly hotel, a party of four ladies enjoying a show at the Winter Gardens and stayed overnight on Saturday 23rd April 2022. The accommodation is lovely with warm and comfortable bed rooms and a nice bar and lounge area. We all particularly enjoyed the breakfast which has everything you could require and Julie the waitress was lovely. Caryn was a welcoming host and the bar man (sorry I forgot you name) was very pleasant. This hotel is excellent value for money and all the lovely staff contributed to our pleasant stay. Centrally located, very well kept and highly recommended. Thank you

The ambience and decor throughout the whole hotel is beautiful and the cleanliness is 100% rooms are very comfortable and spacious we had a great view of the tower the location is spot on right in the heart of Blackpool. Breakfast definitely 10 out of 10 with breakfast service very efficient and again very friendly staff . Bedroom very basic. The bath mat was disgustingly filthy. The radiators were turned off during the day and put on around 7pm and we were cold. When I asked at reception when are the radiators going back on I was told about 7pm but I was not told then that there was an infra red heater above the door which we had not seen as it was so high up.They did not do evening meals so we had to find a food outlet in the cold.My partner has severe breathing problems so walking is the damp weather is no good for her.The lift I think came from Noahs ark with a door that banged every time someone used it.Drinks were very expensive. We came home a day early due to my partners health and they did not even offer a refund .We will not use that hotel again.

Dear Guest, We are disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay with us, and are surprised that you have chosen to give us such a bad mark. I would like to go through some points with you if I may. I am sorry that you felt the room was basic. Room 19 is a popular room overlooking the Winter Gardens with a balcony. It was decorated in March last year and we are told by many guests that it is very comfortable. The heating comes on at 7am till 9, 1 pm till 4 and again at 7 till 9.30. It would be far too warm in the rooms if it was on constantly. As the bedroom information book tells you, each room has a very efficient wall heater that is easily operated by the guest. We do evening meals all the time that we are open from June till December, except on one or two weekends when we are full with dancers competing across the road at the Winter Gardens during the day and evening, when there is no request for dinner. When you booked in October, my husband remembers you asking about dinner and he told you that there was no evening meal that weekend. (we also discussed this with you on check in) , so I don't understand how this can become a complaint that we didn't give you dinner, and mark us down for the weather being cold (in November) and for you having to go outside to find a restaurant. If you had asked we would have given you a guest map with a list of the many excellent restaurants on our doorstep. You asked for a room next to the lift which you got. You said the lift is from 'Noah's Ark' which is untrue as we had a brand new lift put in 3 years ago. It is a completely modern, quiet and efficient lift. Our drinks are very reasonable and I would be interested to hear from you on which drinks you thought were expensive, as we only charge pub prices and not hotel prices. You booked a two night stay and decided on the first morning that you were leaving because your wife suffered badly with lung problems. It was me you spoke to and I asked if their was anything we could do to help and offered to fetch your bags down for you and call a taxi. You actually told me that you were sorry you were leaving early due to your wife's health problems, but you would be back to stay with us in summer when its easier for your wife. Why on earth would we give you a refund because you have chosen to leave early? I am sure on reflection that you would realise you have marked us very severely and I would be happy to discuss any of these matters with you if you call reception. regards Caryn Dickson

Stayed here for 2 nights, bedroom and bathroom are a bit dated but are spotless, has everything you need. Breakfast help your self to cereals, fruit etc, but waiter service for hot things, small portions not over sized, so if you like a big full English you may be disappointed, only criticism is the toast, doesn't see freshly made to order, but just me being picky. No parking but lots of car parks near. Would stay here again and recommend.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us . Our breakfast consists of a huge help yourself buffet followed by a full English breakfast consisting of 7 items, egg, bacon, sausage, heinz baked beans, fresh grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and fried bread with unlimited tea, coffee and toast. I don't think anyone could be disappointed in the amount received but we will take it on board. The toast is made regularly throughout breakfast but can certainly be made to order on request (as some guests do) . We appreciate your lovely comments about the hotel being spotless and us having excellent local car parks on either side of the hotel. We look forward to welcoming you back again on your next visit to Blackpool! best wishes, Caryn Dickson

I really need to put a bad review here, but purely for selfish reasons. It would mean that there would be plenty of rooms free when I wanted to return...but.....this hotel, the staff, the food, the entertainment was all fabulous and we will definately be back. Thank you for a fab time. The Tanner party ladies.
