The reception staff were less than hospitable, the room was filthy, the wi-Fi was non existent, the noise from the room above was appalling, the noise from the road outside was the same, the toilet howled when refilling, the bar café didn't open until 5pm, the food was basic, the menu had loads of items missing, & the cost of drinks was sky high.
Postponed because of covid restrictions last year close to the beach and central pier. Very high standard of cleaning. Receptionist could be better understanding their jobs don't stay here for dinner staff shortage/can't be bothered serving you. Location could be better.
Over night stay to see illuminations. We walked to the seafront on the evening and it took about 20 mins. We would prefer to stay closer if we went again. Room was cold and could feel a draft from the window. No extra blankets or heating working. Overall the stay was good though as the bed was really comfy, the room clean and good value breakfast. At breakfast I did have a slight problem though that the bread was mouldy, the man who seemed to be greeting guests removed it but didn’t apologise- he just said “I’ll get rid of that” he told another staff member as he passed them near the kitchen door but he didn’t even respond or seem bothered. Other food was nice enough, scrambled egg was very bland though. Nobody on reception On checkout so couldn’t inform them of how the stay went but just dropped key card in which is quick and easy. Overall I think we were slightly overpriced for our stay as we’ve stayed at cheaper travelodges but my guess was it’s illuminations and Blackpool is very popular this time of year. The beds are really comfy and I slept pretty well despite the room temp so I’d consider staying again for the right price.…
Had a really lovely stay big shout out to Joe who was the duty manager so friendly and always had a lovely smile on his face it was wat I thought was gonna be stressful as it was a holiday my husband had booked but sadly passed away in February so I went with my daughter and granddaughter so thanks for making our stay a pleasant one
Shocking room, dirty. Had to sleep on floor as never received the room I booked! Breakfast shocking and staff completely disorganised! No toiletries in the room or hairdryer. Please stay clear from these hotels.
