Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been to the Beechfield on a few occasions and it is still as welcoming as ever. We stayed boxing day until 2nd January. Rooms are comfy and tidy. Breakfast is great with a decent amount of options. Entertainment at Christmas is great and family friendly. Julie (General manager) went out of her way to include our daughter (5) in the evening activities. She lived the attention! Hotel comes with parking - £20 per stay, and is a 5 minute walk to town centre so great location. Highly recommended and will be returning next Christmas!

The room was clean but shabby. Huge curtain poles on small windows. Dirty windows. No mirror on the vanity unit. One socket for the TV, hair dryer and kettle. The furniture was chipped chipboard. No toiletry shelf or unit. No complimentary toiletries. No roll holder. 3 toilet rolls???? No cold water in the shower. Nearly got scalded. School dinner standard evening meal, possibly not cooked from fresh. I left the main course and walked out. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Waitresses were polite and attentive but looked like they'd come straight from the gym. No uniforms. Bar and bar area were decent. Staff and receptionist looked like they'd overslept, except for the evening bar man. The receptionist wore a scruffy apron. Which is not what you'd expect front of house on customer service. Complimentary hot drinks and snacks were decent, but the food should be covered. Entertainment was cheap and nasty. The compere was pathetic. Bingo and quizzes went on far too long. Hotel outside was in need of a tidy up. Dog dirt all across the pavement in a very run down, dilapidated road. Car park was good. This hotel is a magnet for elderly customers in particular. Lots of returning groups who seem to control the function room. In general, not the worst hotel in Blackpool but a million miles from the best. Spend more money and look elsewhere. The ratings are far from accurate.

Thanks to Julie..Pauline Ilze Jay Kev and all the rest of the fabulous team. We have had a blast over the Christmas with all the other regulars. Food has been amazing..the beef and yorkers were the best meal ever. One small thing..our window is very old and a bit draughty. The storm yesterday and the high winds made it a bit draughty.
