There have been mixed reviews of this guest house. Will was accommodating with certain conditions, he admitted that he did find guests very demanding and felt like they wanted the same facilities you find in a hotel in a guest house. Our room was at the front of the property on the ground floor, it was nice and clean, the...

Stayed at rayrigg villa for one night only but wills couldn't have been more accommodating. Lovely room with a very large shower. Very peaceful and quiet in the room. It was a bit off putting to read the previous reviews but we did not experience anything that has been mentioned. Wills is a fabulous host who made the stay very...

We stayed here for one night on the way to Scotland. It's a lovely hotel, and the owner, Wills, was really nice, very helpful and informative. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. We had dinner in a nearby Tapas restaurant called El Porton which I would also highly recommend.

Nice little guest house, spic and span, clean and very well maintained. Decent spoken owner, But the niceties end here and what was a well spoken owner slowly turned foul. Here we have a falsely rated 4 star apartment (how did this 2 star or less become 4 star? Is it rigged? Pls TripAdvisor check it out). If its because...

Very friendly and helpful owners; gave us a lot of advice for exploring the area. The guest house is in a great location for the bus around the lakes, and the Windermere village is very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. The bathrooms were on the small side, but still a very enjoyable stay.

This B&B is in a good location but is very overpriced for what it is. Although the owner was friendly, it seemed quite forced and everything was negative... the small requests we made were met but in a way that made us feel like they were an inconvenience. For instance, despite advertising that parking is available, we were told by...

This place is amazing! The room was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was great, everything was spotless, the location is superb, there were plenty of options for breakfast (everything I ate was really good). Also, Wills is the best, helped us with our luggage (our room was in the 3rd floor), and gave us incredible advice to get to know the...

I and my husband booked a room for three nights from London May 2016 after seeing the nice pictures they have put on the net. When we reached,we were shocked at the state of the room and guest house. The room was appalling, the bed linen and blankets were so filthy you could not even touch it. I was shivering...

This is a lovely guest house in an an ideal spot for touring the Bowness and Windermere area. Wills is a great host and gave us stacks of useful information about the local area and attractions which made our two night stay even more enjoyable. I recommend you sample the full English breakfast, cooked by Wills' wife Pauline, it's absolutely...
