On arrival, Jason, (Jay? J?) gave us a pot of tea in reception and asked what sort of stay we intended. On telling him that we wanted to Walk, out came the maps, and the pen, and he showed us exactly how to get to various pathways and also gave opinion on several restaurants (which we later agreed with). The...

Wonderful find. Wish we had stayed longer. Room very comfortable and spotless overlooking a lovely garden. The breakfast is probably the best one we've had - fresh good quality products. Gluten free and vegetarian options. Although the B & B was busy at breakfast we did not have to wait long for anything. Very good host who pointed out good...

I've lost count how many times we've stayed in Windermere over the years so we have a fair idea of the sort of accommodation on offer. We've gone from top-end to shoe-string stays but haven't really found a 'returner' until now. For a great all-rounder; location, rooms, attention to detail, breakfast and the feeling that you got what you paid...

Stayed here during Easter break. The guys that run it are lovely. Was upgraded to a double at no extra charge. The room was lovely with a really nice modern bathroom, felt more hotel quality than B&B. The breakfast was great, really good quality food. Would definitely recommend and return!!!

Just returned from a great weekend away. This place is an absolute gem, great location and beautifully kept. Couldn't fault it, the owner and his cousin are excellent hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend people to visit, we stayed in a four poster room, worth the extra money. Will definitely be retuning!
