Booked 3 single rooms direct for 4 nights,rooms bit on the small side but very clean with nice en suite, coffee tea and hot choc in room plus biscuits.no trouble sleeping in quiet location, breakfast excellent self serve cereals and fruit juice then full English cooked fresh. We have just returned from staying the weekend at the royal oak, The staff were very friendly and helpfull breakfast was really nice. I booked the room as a last minute get away on line with Booking.com the room was discribed as a superior double room which cost £90.00 a night. Marking it out of 10, 9/10 for cleaness 6/10...

I cannot comment on the food or accommodation. Popped in for a swift pint. I was the only person at the bar and waited over five minutes before someone appeared to serve me. When he appeared he was friendly enough. If you're going to stay here be warned that parking could be an issue, with only about 5 or 6...

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends 5&6th April and had a great time. The location was fab and parking on site was so convenient. We just left the car keys for the staff to shuffle the car round as required and forgot about it until we came to leave. The rooms are on the small side but very clean...

Just returned from an overnight stay, we have stayed here a few times over the years always in room 10. This time the room had been updated and we were not disappointed, breakfast was served in our room which is a lovely touch, staff are friendly and welcoming.
