Came here for my surprise birthday present and I wasn't disappointed! Absolutely brilliant facilities (the hot tub was absolutely amazing) , welcoming friendly staff, breakfast was perfect :) Didn't want to go home!

The nearest station is Windermere. If you get the Glasgow to London train you can change at Oxenholme to get the branch line to Windermere about 20mins but you would need a bus or a taxi from there.
