We booked this B&B because it was #1 on Tripadvisor so our hopes were already high. We need not have been concerned, as it more than met our expectations and Leon (sadly we did not meet Debbie) was the perfect host during our 2 night stay in the lakes. It really is a home-from-home with all the creature comforts you...

we enjoyed warm hospitality from Leon the moment we stepped into the house. The whole place was beautifully decorated and our room was so comfortable that it was difficult to leave. They definitely deserve their good breakfast award! Penrith was a good base for us as we wanted to explore the less touristy but not any less beautiful parts of...

We'd booked a Deluxe room and a Superior room for two nights in June. It was one of four recommended by the bride and groom. Couldn't have been better! The oldies were in room 1 so not so many stairs up to their room. We were in room 6. Both rooms were stylishly decorated, spacious and well appointed. A lovely...

We were welcomed warmly. The room was very comfortable with a fine en-suite shower room. It had everything in it that we could think of, including face wipes!! Breakfast was superb, served promptly and happily. Everyone was made to feel welcome and special.

We stayed here for one night in early May as we were in the area attending our friend's wedding. It's a beautiful property located within 5 minutes' walk of Penrith town centre. The rooms are spacious, well-equiped & cleverly designed, with the shower room being incorporated inside the chimney breast! Breakfast was delicious, the service throughout excellent & the room...

Stayed for one night before starting C2C cycle challenge. What a superb place! Situated a short stroll from the town centre, beautifully appointed throughout, friendly helpful hosts and an excellent breakfast. I doubt you'd find better in the area.

An absolutely fantastic stay for two nights as part of the C2C cycle ride. Attention to detail was superb. The rooms were equipped with everything you could need. Sleep was excellent on comfortable beds in quiet rooms. Everything you could ask for in a B&B with excellent food and attentive host. Definite 5* in all aspects and would HIGHLY recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights at Brooklands for a mountain biking course. My single room was well appointed and was a good size for a single. Every detail has been thought of and the hosts know their business. Breakfast was fantastic with a great choice. By far the most enjoyable guest house experience and very reasonably priced too. I hope to...
