We stayed in a pod at the site during half term. Some real positives here for anyone who camps or clamps. The dining area and games area are a great addition not seen at many sites. The microwave, kettle and fridge freezer for all to use is, again, a real positive. The pod itself was great, with fantastic views, warm,... More

My family stayed in a normal size pod which I believe is slightly smaller than a family pod. That being said there was more than enough room for the four of us as all its really used for is sleeping in. On arrival to site I met the owner who was pleasant enough without being overly friendly, but as we... More

We booked to camp here for August bank holiday weekend and I was slightly nervous about the 'grumpy woman' mentioned in previous reviews, so much so that on arrival I sent my husband over to the office to check us in! He came out laughing and said she was fine (breathed a sigh of relief) and went to find our... More

Our cottage was really lovely inside with a lot of character and charm. It was also well equipped , clean and tidy. The farm is great for all ages , the children loved the playground and organised activities and everyone loved the walks and farm animals. There is a great farm shop, as well as close access to lots of... More

This was my first time away in a pod with my two children and I was amazed how great it was. The facilities are extremely clean and are kept up to through the day...you would think you was using their house;) there is a kitchen area with a tv, kettle, fridge and microwave all in excellent condition and able to... We camped here for one night recently. Overall the stay was excellent - the campsite was in a nice location and the pitch was really good. There is a really nice lounge for campers that was a real bonus as the weather turned nasty. There's also a place to cook undercover and a nice children's playground. Overall a really good... More

We’ve visited the North Lakes on many an occasion and stayed at plenty of sites and cottages in and around Penrith and Keswick, this time we favoured a Podding break for a change and quickly found Gill Head Farm perfectly situated between Keswick and Penrith. Having turned to Tripadvisor prior to booking (standard practice these days) I was encouraged by... More

Pods were spacious and facilities were clean. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. I did take an air bed for extra comfort. Wasn't sure what to expect as this was our first time in a pod but couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. We had a great time and will be returning. The waterfall on site was beautiful... We rented 3 pods mid July and had a fab time. The pods are clean and a good size with electrics. The futons are fine, maybe a bit hard for us 50 somethings but the 20 somethings had no such complaints!! The facilities , showers etc were so close and really clean. And the location was just perfect to drive... More

This place was absolutely perfect for us! We rented a pod for 2 nights- it was clean and there was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 smallies. The toilets/showers were spotless, the breakfast was lovely and freshly made, the little park for the kids was great and the views were beautiful!! I'd 100% go back again- we all... More
