Stayed for a mid -week break back in January, we had a two bedroom villa on Meadow View. We had been warned before we arrived we may be disturbed by some building work, we could see it but it wasn’t a problem. And the vouchers came in handy when we visited Bella Italia for dinner which was very good. We...

Once all the cars were in the car park it was lovely being able to walk without dodging traffic. Although there were a lot of people there the property is large enough and there are enough activities for everyone to spread out.We were disappointed to discover that the cleaning staff had failed to clear the bin, fridge and bathroom sink...

Great place with fab lodges. We stayed in the Three Oaks area which is about 10 minute walk from the shops, restaurants and facilities. It's also a great place to relax in the Aqua Sana spa and also good for the kids to do activities like archery, bowling, roller skating etc. The only problem we had was that when trying...

It was just what we needed a quick short break. The place nice and tranquil with plenty of things to do, with many places to choose from to eat and the food was excellent especially Bella Italia. All in all it was a pleasant stay

Accommodation is good but not of the highest standard, tired furniture and carpets, decor needs refreshing, Ate out most nights, food good but very expensive for the quality. (watch out for the 10% surcharge, get it removed and tip the staff with cash) Supermarkets surprisingly reasonably priced. Activities are good and well supervised, again very expensive A bug bear of...

Just returned from a mid week break at Whinfell. We had a 4 bed executive lodge booked, first time in this sort of accommodation, which was fantastic. Kids loved having their own bathrooms & TVs in the rooms. We paid extra to pick a specific lodge as our eldest daughter has learning difficulties & we wanted to be as near...

Thoroughly enjoyed visit with Daughter, Son-in-law, and grandchildren. Only blemish was the Crazy Science activity which was lacking substance, interest and entertainment. Apart from that great and will be returning.
