We have just returned from a long weekend at Damson Lodge and its possibly one of the best we have stayed at. You were made to feel welcome from the start by Paul and Viri with recommendations on which walks to try and the loan of o/s maps. They have a beautiful home which is warm and inviting. We stayed... Four of us stayed for a week recently at Damson Lodge , for the first time.We were 'bowled over' by all aspects of this lovely B&B and by the owners' hospitality. The accommodation is only for 6 people; it is extremely good value for the standard of service. The owners, Paul and Viri, pay a great deal of attention to every... More

We had a lovely stay at Damson Lodge. The room was perfectly clean and large and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, even lending us a map for the day. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the days long walking.I would definitely stay there again.

A superb B&B with high quality touches throughout. Everything is so well done. Lovely spacious rooms with modern tasteful decor and furnishings. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Awesome breakfasts; a superb selection of quality food including daily specials such as homemade pancakes with plum compote, youhurt, honey and almonds - gorgeous! Homemade bread is a nice treat. Paul and Viri are lovely... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over the May bank holiday weekend and found Damson Lodge to be spotlessly clean, very relaxing and a lovely place to stay. Hosts Paul & Viri couldn't have done more to be accommodating and were very helpful in making suggestions about things to do. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING! Would definitely return.

The B and B is lovely, spotlessly clean and freshly decorated. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, very friendly and offer advice on local area and give out maps for walks etc.... More

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't be happier. Lovely hosts who cook cracking breakfasts and make delicious shortbread which awaits you on arrival. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable so couldn't be happier. Paul & Viri believe that good quality shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg and they definitely deliver here. Will be... We couldn't have been more unlucky with the weather in Keswick, yet arrived in the sure knowledge that both our welcome and three-nights stay (as before), with Viri and Paul would far outweigh the cold, sleet and snow. Everything about the Damson Lodge experience must be applauded: spotless, very comfortable, and terrific breakfasts to start the day (pre-ordered the evening... More
