We ate here on Saturday night with friends and it was absolutely delicious so we returned last night. As usual a beautiful meal freshly cooked and served by courteous and friendly staff and the dogs were made most welcome as well .
The meal was substandard. The waitperson was clueless and when, you don't any where near finish your meal, you would think they might ask why? This is just a bring them in churn them over type of establishment. A complete disaster including the wrong account.
Had great service and meals here on two consecutive evenings . Visited Keswick as part of a weekend away with a large group of friends . We pre-booked as we were a large party . They accommodated us very well . Food was great !...More
Fantastic food and service at the Royal Oak. Breakfast and Dinner was of a high standard. The rooms were cosey but in need of an update which I believe is to
happen shortly. Expect it will be of a very high standard once complete
Very friendly and helpful. Room small but cute, love the character and slanted floor. Food was delicious. No parking but it is in centre of town. Keswick is a lovely place to visit, very olde world. Hotel dog friendly.

Hi Stacy. Being located in the centre of the town means we don't have our own parking facilities. However there are car parks within minutes of our inn with free overnight parking. If you enter Keswick via the A66 (from Penrith) or the A591 (from Kendal). Follow Penrith Road towards the town up a small hill towards a crossroads. Continue over a pedestrian crossing and take the second turning on the right. You will see Otley Road car park on your right. You can park for free from 7pm to 8:30am (overnight) and a 24hour pass costs £5. It’s just a 3 minute walk to The Royal Oak at Keswick from here.
