We had a really nice stay at Whiteside Lodge, which is one of the lodges at Burnside Park near Keswick. The lodge is managed by Cumbrian Cottages on behalf of the owner.

We stayed for a week here and enjoyed our stay. The cottage seemed to have most things we needed for the week. The cottage had been properly cleaned before we arrived and the only thing that wasn't in a good state was the pedal bin....More

Really nice site but very small, no shop when I visited last August and no play area to my knowledge either. The site is just a short walk out of Keswick where there are plenty of shops and parks to play in.
We only stayed in small lodge for a couple so sorry don't think I'll be much help. The lodge we stayed in had several wooden steps to gain access so watch out for this if you book for your senior travellers.
