Absolutely loved it here! Great friendly staff. Felt very welcome and run by really nice people. Lovely clean rooms and the beds were so comfy! The hotel is in the perfect location it's just a minute away from town centre! I LOVED it here and can't wait to come back. Thanks for a great week :)

My husband and I have just spent a wonderful three day weekend in this beautiful guest house. We have actually stayed there at least once a year for the past seven years but this is my first review. The whole house is very well-kept and extremely clean, furnished in a traditional yet modern style. We had the Dene Suite which...

We had a five night stay at the Hazeldene at Easter. It was cold and rained most of the time but the warm welcome we received and excellent accommodation made our trip a success. Everywhere was tastefully decorated and we have never stayed anywhere with such a high standard of cleanliness. The breakfast was excellent and we look forward to...

Very clean and well kept hotel with modern decor and bathroom, towels and bedding top quality, I just missed my pillow as those provided were too soft for me. The view from room 8 was breath taking. Breakfast was excellent with everything to choose from ( scrambled eggs was the best I have ever had). Proprietors were friendly and informative....

Upon arrival to Hazeldene, the proprietors, Helen and Howard Winter, welcomed us to their very well furnished three-story B&B for a stay for five nights. The rooms our family occupied were numbers 1 and 3 on the second floor which were north facing with beautiful views of Latrigg fell on Skiddaw mountain in the background and the town center of...

We've tried in the past to get booked up here and at long last managed last week and we certainly weren't disappointed; you can see why it's regularly booked. We've stayed at a few places on The Heads but this is by far and away the best. The hosts Howard and Helen are very welcoming and friendly. We opted for...

We have stayed at the hazeldene a few times over the last year or two and I can honestly say I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in keswick. It's in an ideal location, has its own parking as not all guest houses do in keswick . Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Can't fault the breakfast. Helen and Howard...

Helen and Howard's attention to detail is really excellent, wonderful hosts who spontaneously arranged a shady parking space for Jethro the pooch who spent the night in the car, and a sausage to keep him nourished for the hills. The quality of the refurb is superb, (amazing gloss work :-) ), comfy beds, sadly we needed to try out the...

We recently stayed at Hazeldene Hotel with my husband's brother & wife and couldn't fault a thing with this wonderful B&B. It had breathtaking views from all directions & was perfectly placed to the town & Derwentwater. We had two lovely adjoining rooms on the second floor to the rear of the hotel in our own little wing. Each room...
