I have watched as this hotel's exterior has been completely transformed into a most attractive building, so I have been keen to see the interior. Yesterday I called in for a coffee and really liked the cosy rooms and the tasteful furnishings. Service was a little slow, as the man behind the bar was dealing with another customer, but he...

We visited at the weekend and noticed an improvement in service and attitude of staff. I left a review commenting on positive changes which disappeared, so here is another :-) Good luck, I hope people are willing to give you another chance

I have been frequenting this establishment numerous times when it was the Bluebell. I was looking forward to visiting for the first time after being refurbished. First impressions were very positive but it quickly went downhill. The room was very cold even though the coal fire was lit. Very draughty and cold. My wife refuses to take her jacket off....

After an afternoon family stroll around the 'flats', we thought we would chance a quick cheeky drink at the Heversham Hotel, before returning home. What a difference a lovely, warm welcome makes!!!!! The atmosphere was wonderful - just what us locals have been waiting for. From the moment we entered the bar, Lynn and her team were wonderful. There were...

Visited with friends for a drink whilst sight seeing in the area. What a lovely building and very well refurbished throughout. The separate rooms are lovely with open fires and some lovely original features. We tasted the Sam Smiths beers and Porter ( not the larger or cider) They were all good drinks at very good prices. Will be recommending...

I booked the four poster room in this hotel as a birthday present for my partner. We were certainly not disappointed. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious. It was also very clean. The land lord and land lady were very welcoming and accommodating. Very relaxed atmosphere. Also had a lovely night drinking with the locals on Saturday night....

We went in at lunchtime on new year's Eve. The décor is lovely but unfortunately on such a cold day the fires weren't lit and no heating was on. We ordered some dinks which were very reasonably priced. The array of Sam Smith's ales was the most I have ever seen But this could not be said for the wine...

A friend and I popped in for a quick drink as we hadn't been in before. We left a few hours and several drinks later having had a lovely evening. The landlord is very friendly and chatty. He and his partner are trying so hard. The place is spotless. Dogs are welcome in the bar. Fires are lit and it...
