Well situated B&B run by friendly hosts which was a superb find and in an ideal situation to explore the lakes. Paul and Granville couldn't have been more helpful and our room was absolutely spotless. Superior in every way to other places we have stayed and we will certainly be using Millers Beck again.

We booked the Millrace room for a last minute getaway. What a fabulous find. Millers Beck is a lovely old millhouse run by Paul and Granville. We had a lovely welcome. The room was spotless. The modern decor is more in keeping with a boutique hotel. The full english breakfast catered for my special dietary requirements (even down to gluten...

Near to Kendal and the Southern Lakes, hard to beat in this price range and would put many larger establishments to shame. Friendly hosts with great breakfast choice, rooms are superior in their cleanliness, modern and well appointed with up market bathroom suites. Great pub food less than a minute away.

We stayed at millers beck for the bank holiday weekend and were delighted with our choice! The location was excellent for visiting the southern lakes, and the welcome we received and the quality and cleanliness of our room was better than we could have hoped - and the cooked breakfast superb! On the edge of a beck and with lots...

Beautiful building, beautiful room where you want for nothing and stunning views. Breakfast was very good in both flavour and quality. Paul was extremely approachable, friendly and full of great information. I cannot pour any more praise onto both the owners and their B&B. Highly recommended !!

Staying here for the week and really happy with the place. Very comfortable and modern double room. Exceptionally clean and a nice change from some other b&b I've stayed at. The bathroom is amazing and has given me inspiration to do the same at home. Fabulous place and surroundings, highly recommended.

This is a must if you're in the area. Our room (similar to all others) had up to date fittings - even slow drop loo seats. There's a pub within 15 minutes walking - just don't ask for a 1/2 pint as they'll only up-sell you to 2/3 pint. Food in the pub was good. As this was once a...

This was an excellent find. We had an appointment at the Westmorland Agricultural Society and this was the closest B and B. Everything was clean and comfortable. The decor was fresh and welcoming. The owners were helpful and friendly: the provided directions and suggested places to eat locally. The view was beautiful even if the weather was not! Our room...

We stayed last weekend [fri-mon] and we loved it, we were in one the self-catering apartments and it had everything we needed in it, great little touches make a big difference, and you can see on arrival and looking round that paul and granville have taken the time to ensure you can just buy your food from asda 5 minutes...

We stayed in the 2-bedroom self-catering apartment (Farm View) and were really impressed with its comfort, facilities, cleanliness and location. With a 24-hour Asda and an award-winning Farm Shop both within 5 minutes' drive, we found it effortless to stock up and enjoy our short break. We will definitely be back, and will recommend to family & friends.
