Lovely old water mill thats been sympathetically converted and improved by the current owners. Immaculate rooms with all the facilities you would want with great views over the old mill race (wonderful sound of water), across the gardens to open country. Great home cooked breakfasts...More

Glad you enjoyed your stay. As a Country Guest House advertised as being a few miles out of Kendal most people would be surprised to find us in the Town centre.
Very attentive staff who could not do enough for you. Very clean rooms, the shower was good and the place was set in nice surroundings. The breakfast was well cooked and the coffe and toast just kept coming. Lovely for a weekend getaway

Hi we are in a really nice location with great country roads on the doorstep but also easy access to Lakes and Dales for more serious cycling. Oxenholme rail station is just a couple of miles away which means bike could be got to windermere/staveley very easily. There are also a number of Bike Buses running around trhe Lakes which get you and the bike to a different location.
