Great little place, very friendly and helpful staff, from checking in to leaving, good beer good service and very welcoming atmosphere our room for the night was the Titania, a small cottage style room at the rear, spotlessly clean, with a great shower and lovely fresh towels, slept very well in the comfy bed, don't worry about car parking access,...

Just got home from two lovely nights here with my partner Geoff. Stayed earlier in the year and was so impressed we went back! The room was lovely. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Abbie did a great job of cleaning the room and was nice and friendly whilst serving us breakfast. Stuart was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for...

We both ordered the special of the day, steak and ale pie. The pie was horribly over salted and the broccoli was inedible. The barman was friendly and apparently passed on our complaint. Would not recommend this eaterie.

Perfect for a one night stay to see the sights of kendal for a night out or if your attending a wedding as we were. The front of the hotel is totally different to the rooms at the back. They are small little one room cottages. Morden without trying to hard simple without being plain. Perfect. Staff were helpful and...

Brilliant pub. Bedroom was big and spotless. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked bed and breakfast and the breakfast was excellent. The Shakespeare pub is right in the centre of town and has its own car park which is free at the back. It's a narrow road to drive through but we had no problem as my car...

A comftable bed and the breakfast is excellent. Its location means you are no more than a nice 15min stroll from any of the sights. Great hosts and...

Your first challenge is getting into the car park! I can assure you a Ford Kuga fits through the alleyway but only just. It's a great location, right in the middle of the town, with restaurants, bars and the Arts Centre all close by. The rooms are basic but cosy, well heated and quiet during the night. One issue we...

The pub is very clean, spacious and very welcoming' On entry to the bar we were greeted by a young gentleman with a huge smile on his face, he talked us through the menu and poured us our drinks. We ordered our...
