Visited this pub whilst on holiday on a very wet and windy day! Lovely cosy pub with log fire and lovely friendly staff. The bar area is quite small but there is a much larger area for dining and it's also doggy friendly. Lovely food too!

This appears to be the smallest pub in the village but it has a good selection of beers. We didn't try any of the food here but the pub itself was very welcoming with all the things you'd expect from a village pub.

We decided to try a night away with our two Sprockers. The Kings Arms advertised itself as "dog friendly" and lived up to the claim, This is a cosy little inn, in a beautiful village. The welcome was generally very friendly and the room was as expected - think "pub" not "hotel". Our evening meal was ok, though both were...

Had a lovely evening on Saturday. The feta cheese chicken was beautiful, well presented and tasty! Busy pub with great beer and nice spiced hot cider. Will be back later this week to try another dish off the menu.

A small friendly pub in a lovely village setting with a good selection of real ales. Staff helpful , in a cosy atmosphere. No parking to the pub, but as we were there out of season , the main car park in the village was free. ( Although there was nothing to actually advertise this). We didn't eat , but...

My partner and I decided a couple of years ago that we didn't really need Christmas presents, so I suggested we treat each other to three nights, dinner, b&b in the Spring at this pub. The welcome we received and the excellent food and company meant that we've booked again for April this year for the third time. We take...

Probably the smallest pub in Hawkshead but this just adds to its cosiness. It's a friendly pub with a small but well stocked bar serving a good selection of beers and whisky's. The pub does fill up given its size so be prepared to have to stand.

The Kings Arms hotel is part of a charming pub in the village squarei n Hawkshead. The location is wonderful. We were in 2 adjoining bedrooms with kids nicely catered for. The rooms were old world styel with wooden beams and low ceilings and were a little small, but were clean and comfortable, Breakfast was amazing and a great way...
