Stayed just before Christmas for our anniversary. Hotel is absolutely lovely. Located in Grasmere a few minutes walk from the gingerbread shop. It's very "country house" with beautiful rooms and a welcome to match. We stayed in Shelley which is on the top floor overlooking the garden and stream. The room has a bath with shower which is very modern...

Our 20th Christmas at The Grasmere and somehow it just gets better. There is no better place to spend Christmas IMO. The quality of food and presentation is more like being a judge on Masterchef the Professionals (but with decent portions). Thank you to Anton, Rob and all the staff. New Chef Dillon welcome - and we appreciate your fantastic...

We stayed for one night on Tuesday 6th December. This was the first time we had stayed at this Hotel, although we have stayed in Grasmere numerous times before. From the moment we walked through the front door to the moment we checked out the following morning, we had nothing but brilliant service, courtesy and professionalism from Rob and the...
