Good food and excellent local ales. Ordered food and it arrived in minutes. If you like real ales this is this place to visit in coniston. The barley wine is excellent but it is £6 a pint ! I'll definitely be going back soon.

Very dog friendly, my husky was getting petted by all the staff :) They even arranged a quiet corner for us on Christmas Eve so we could eat without other dogs going by (my dog wants to play with everyone)
