We stayed in a basic triple room, it was very small, but we just wanted a cheap overnight stay, wish we asked to upgrade as there wasn’t many staying in the hotel, I would recommend you offer upgrades. Lovely staff though, we had a really nice meal in the bar, reasonably priced

Booked 1 night. Given attic room which was horrific to access especially with 2 kids. Disappointing to be given this room particularly as the hotel was empty. The room was tiny & smelled stale. Carpeted tiny tiny bathroom (who does this?!). No soap in dispenser. Noisy internal

Having left Nottingham behind me and the two inches of snow I headed for Cumbria. The was no snow and although breezy it was beautiful The hotel had ground floor accomodation which was excellent. The staff as usual were very helpful.And the food wonderful
