Nice bed , nice room, good shower, quite, warm, nice staff. No parking at hotel except on sundays, public car park across the road, reasonably priced for all day & overnight.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic period rooms and brilliant breakfast. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help.
The hotel allows dogs which is a plus for us, although we didn’t take ours!

Booked at the last minute for a winter escape. We were not disappointed. The hotel and Staff were first class. Bedroom was very spacious and spotless and even had a treat waiting for our Dog. Will be back.

We have just returned after a weekend here. Staff set up a lovely breakfast table in the very pleasant 'back bar' for us and our dog and made us feel very welcome. Dogs are allowed in the bar but not the adjoining bistro... More
