Just returned from another wonderful stay at Riverside. Dave and Brenda greeted us like old friends and their hospitality is second to none. The room last time looked over the river but this time we had views of the garden where the magnolia tree and azaleas were in full bloom. Everything was perfection from the standard of the room to...

We stayed here for a weekend break. We stayed in room 2 which has a four-poster bed, jacuzzi bath and a sitting area looking out on the river. David was a wonderful host, giving information about walks and places to eat. Breakfast was yummy-especially the homemade bread and preserves. Would love to return.

We wanted a high quality, cosy retreat to come back to after a long day out in the hills and we were not disappointed. The hotel is small and intimate with a level of thoughtfulness and service that is very rare these...
