Recently attended a party at this hotel. It was held in the Snobs Bar. Staff were friendly. The buffet was lovely with a choice of sandwiches, chicken goujons, spicy potatoes, sausages, pizza and spring rolls. The room itself was rather claustrophobic having a very low ceiling.

The Hotel was booked and paid for by a family friend. The room we stayed in was large and spotlessly clean with all the amenities you want. I actually really liked the hotel and our stay was very pleasant. The staff at the front desk and elsewhere were very courteous and pleasant. We dined elsewhere in the evening but breakfast...

Stayed in room 4 the Victoria suite - a really lovely room - perhaps a little worn but a big room with a very comfy bed and sitting area. The bathroom was big but the shower was a pain - mixer taps that were in turns either too sensitive or not sensitive at all - so shower time was spent...

Situated in a quiet area of the city centre, so easy to find and with free parking in a local car park included in the price when travelling by car. There is also disable parking outside the hotel. We had a classic double which was spotlessly clean and contained all the facilities we needed. Free SECURE Wifi was so unexpected....

My wife and I went to Hull as it is the 2017 City of Culture and stayed for three nights in this hotel. It is a small, intimate, family run hotel in a charming Georgian (?) building overlooking a small square with a well kept park in it, which is extremely quiet so there is no problem with noise from...

We stayed here to take advantage of Hull's Year of Culture. We arrived at 11.30 and asked if we could use the hotel's car park. We were given a voucher for 24 hours for a local car park and were told that our room was ready. This was a lovely spacious room overlooking Kingston Square. The breakfast was good and...

Spent two nights here whilst visiting the City of Culture. The hotel's location is very quiet with a lovely garden square opposite yet it's within very easy reach of the city centre. There is pay and display car parking outside or at a nearby car park which is complementary when using a voucher provided by the hotel. Our room was a...

We hosted a meal for 12 of our friends and were very pleased with the service, atmosphere and food, which were all faultless. The staff were very helpful in the organisation beforehand, and very efficient on the evening in ensuring that everything went smoothly and we all enjoyed ourselves. We felt that we could relax as they were so good,...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - the main reason was the staff who were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The feel of the hotel is quite retro but nothing wrong in that from our perspective. Our room was comfortable with all the usual amenities and the breakfasts were varied and substantial. Well...

My wife and I , with four friends, spent two days at this lovely hotel whilst visiting the City of Culture. The hotel was very centrally situated and parking at a nearby car park was free with their voucher which was a big plus. The staff were very welcoming and our rooms were perfectly comfortable. Breakfasts were cooked to order...
