We have stayed here on numerous occasions, fantastic rooms, food, drink & a delicious cooked breakfast. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a warm welcome 100% recommended! Handy for local attractions such as Headcorn Airfield and the big cat sanctuary.

This is a lovely quirky country Inn with oodles of charm. The owners and staff were attentive and friendly. Obviously very popular with the locals too. We stayed in 'The Guinevere' room which has a lovely comfortable bed. We slept so well here with no noise. Lovely underfloor heating in the shower room. A fab copper tub with plenty of hot water to fill it. Breakfast was plentiful. Loved their 'Full English'. The garden is beautiful too. Thank you all so much for a wonderful weekend escape.

Hi from The Chequers Inn, thank you for taking the trouble to post your very kind review, we really need every little bit of help we can muster in these very difficult times. We spent a lot of time and expense making our Guinevere room as luxurious and comfortable as possible and it's so rewarding to know that people appreciate what we're trying to create here. Once again thanks very much and hope to welcome you both back again sometime in the future. Kind regards All at the Chequers

This place is a must, stunning rooms, beautiful location & very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, especially the waffles, yum! The sausage & mash for dinner was also very nice I’ll be back to visit for a Sunday roast soon.

Had a fab meal once again at The Chequers. Sea bass was devine. All dishes were excellent and the service, as usual, also very good. This pub really is a jewel in our village and we are lucky to have on our doorstep.

Had a brilliant Sunday lunch here, food was excellent, and served with a smile. Great chef, and friendly staff. You need to book as it gets very busy. What a lovely traditional country pub, serving great food, what's not to like? You must pay them a visit, and maybe stay for the weekend.
