We were looking for a two night stay, the weekend before Xmas to celebrate our anniversary. Unable to stay at our first choice we were lucky to come across Ash Tree Cottage. it is situated only minutes away from the Pantiles and the high street. This delightful cottage is at the end of a small, private road and is very quiet...

Excellent location for walking into Tunbridge Wells, good parking and great hosts. Amazing breakfasts, beautiful garden full of birds in the morning and Richard's amazing library of travel books etc. to browse through... absolute heaven. Very nice couple who took the time to make sure our stay went well and always on hand if needed to share their knowledge and...

Excellent accommodation (downstairs room), including comfortable bed, en suite, plenty of storage (and books!), and even a spacious private lobby! Friendly hosts, eager to make our stay a pleasant, enjoyable one. Great breakfast, with a wonderfully varied menu - a delicious, high-quality start to the day. Very convenient location - close to High Street, but on a quiet private road,...

Quiet, peaceful, central, friendly, fabulous breakfast (the scrambled eggs are superb) What's not to like, nothing! The couple are really nice. The room was clean and quiet with excellent views over the garden and the town. Parking too! We ate in the evening at the Black Pig, very good and excellent value

I stayed at Ash Tree Cottage for 8 nights in May/June. I had the room upstairs. It was very spacious, with good light, a very comfortable bed and a nice, well equipped private bathroom. The room was very lovely and twice the size of the other places I stayed while in England. The owners, Richard and Sue, are delightful. Very...

As said in a previous review, this bed and breakfast is a gem. It is set in a very private part of Tunbridge Wells not far from the Pantiles and about a 10 minute pleasant walk to the station. Nearby is a very good pub called the Compasses who were very friendly and the place was good for a pub...

I only stayed for a night, but wish i could have stayed longer. My room could not have been more comfortable or quiet. The attached bathroom was spotless and had lots of warm towels and everything you could need for toiletries. The bed was large and cozy, with plenty of blankets provided. There was a strong wifi connection as well....

We found this beautiful B&B on Tripadvisor when looking for a place to spend the night while guesting a Chef’s Table dinner at Rosemary Shrager’s Cookery School in Royal Tunbridge Wells. It is located on a cul de sac in a very quiet area of town above the Pantiles and the walk from the RTW railway station took only 10...
