From the outside it looks just like any other Victorian terrace house, in a busy road. In fact it may make you wonder if you are at the wrong address. But once inside, and been welcomed by heart warming Grace, one starts to feel more...More
We stayed for 2 nights with our 13 and 10 year olds. Our plan was a day trip to Calais, getting up early and arriving back late. We wanted a guest house we could easily access and with separate facilities for us adults to stay...More
We spent two nights at No. 7 Priory Guesthouse. The location is very good, within easy walking distance of restaurants, pubs, the high street, beach, and castle. Our hostess was very welcoming, and the bed and bathrooms were large and clean. Breakfast was simple but...More
Can't recommend this place enough. Grace is the warmest host and has a beautiful house. The room was comfortable and little touches like toothpaste and mouthwash in the bathroom made it feel as easy as staying with friends. The breakfast was delicious and generous. I'd...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Thank you for your review of your stay with us. Please note that we are indeed a guesthouse with the hosts resident at the property. Please note the details of the reservation made through one of our partners:
- the room booked was a twin room with two single beds in it
- there was no request made for a double bed on your reservation. If so, you would have been advised to book a double room as we do not have the capacity for storage and for moving beds around
-there was no mention of the fact that you had an infant in the reservation- had that been mentioned, the establishment would have prepared a travel cot for the infant
-the host did ask upon your arrival and realising that you had a child, whether you wanted a travel cot set up and you advised that you had your own.
- your comment generalises that the rooms are small- the room you booked is the smallest in the establishment but the rest have generous proportions which accommodate two double beds in them
-this is an old listed property and there are limitations to what we can do with regards to sound insulation.
I am sorry that your stay with us did not meet your expectations but would appreciate that your review of your stay with us be factual and objective. Thank you
