Each to his own but, based on considerable experience, Travelodges wouldn't be our first choice. This stay was a bit of a no-brainer, though,as a return to the Maritime Museum was the focus of our long weekend. We know Chatham Maritime from visits to the marina in our boat, the hotel's right beside the historic dock and all the other... More

This Travelodge meets their normal standard of good rooms. It also has a bar and cafe. We stay here because it is handy for the historic dockyard and you can eat in one of the restaurants in Chatham Maritime which is only 5 minutes walk away.

Hotel does exactly what it says on the tin. Clean comfortable and friendly staff. Breakfast is good value for money. Stayed at this place for the past 5 years every time it's changed hands and never had any problems. If you have one speak to the staff they are only to happy to help.

A nice new building with a decent reception, restaurant and bar area, very close to the Maritime Museum. Plenty of parking and although close to the main road very quiet in the room. Breakfast now on offer, similar to Premier Inn selection and chargeable but worth the money, we thought. Menu in the restaurant a bit limited but other options... More

Staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. Gave us directions to local places, taxi numbers etc. Rooms were clean and good value for money. Only down side was there was only one towel in the room. But was easy enough to ask for another one. Breakfast was good. Overall very good hotel.

Went here with low expectations based on previous Travelodge stays but what a difference, all was clean and organised. The evening staff went out of their way to be helpful changing my view hopefully not temporarily of Travelodge.
