This is a beautiful place. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side but waking up to a view of the cathedral is such an amazing way to start the day. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and good local produce. Must be one of the most relaxing places to stay in...

Situated within the Cathedral precincts, a very tranquil place in the middle of the city, especially at night as the precincts are closed to the public; guests get a pass. Modern accommodation, reminiscent of a university hall of residence. The room was small but very clean and well equipped for an overnight stay. Breakfast was very good standard fare, well...

The lodge is really exclusively located, you get free cathedral access and wander in the gardens and around the cathedral when all tourists are gone. Parking can be arranged in the cathedral lots if you ask in advance. The breakfast service was really slow.

Stayed two nights at this very convenient hotel right in the Cathedral precinct. Guests get a pass into the precinct so you don't have to queue or pay to go into the Cathedral. All the restaurants and shops are right on the doorstep and it's a short walk from the train station (Canterbury East). Comfortable room, plenty of tea/coffee, lovely...

A very pleasant experience, location lovely, staff attentive, parking on site really handy. Wandering around the precinct at night a privilege. Wifi access instant and a very tasty breakfast. Very handy having a heated towel rail.

Loved it, booked the room as a birthday surprise for my Fiancé. The location is stunning and the hotel is different in a good way. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room wasn't huge but more than adequate. Breakfast was lovely.

Several niggles. Tiny cramped room with holes and stains in the carpet. Small uncomfortable bed. En Suite shower flooded! Parking near the Hotel is very limited. Popular for weddings which can be very noisy.Full 4 weeks advance cost of accommodation taken for one nights stay rather than a deposit. Difficult getting in and out of with a car especially at...

This was my second visit. The setting is simply superb. The communication and help given when booking is excellent. A cathedral view is a great bonus and well worth requesting. The rooms are looking a little worn but this somehow seems immaterial. It is worth chancing arriving a little earlier than stated as there is more likelihood of parking. We...

We stayed here for three nights, as part of the six week european tour. The room is very small - probably fine for a single person or a couple travelling light, but a bit tight for us with three large suitcases and numerous other bags. Biggest problem was only ONE accessible powerpoint in the room, away from the desk/dressing table....
