The four season's B&B is a class of its own. Its manager and owner almost all the time present on the ground attending his guests. You only see smiling faces in this b&b. Breakfast is just perfect. Coffee is fresh and boiling all the time. Weather you like it french pressed or american percolated, you will be served what you want. Eggs and bacon fried on the spot upon order. No pre prepared. All fresh.
Veru quiet and friendly. Family type premises. You shall be received with a smile from an efficient and highly educated manager. Central and near the town centre area, near all the shops in the area and yet in a calm and quiet spot. This b&b is ideal for travellers and for medium to long stays. I stayed 10 days and shall repeat it every time i am in canterbury.

On arrival I got the warmest welcome from the owner who worked hard throughout my stay to provide just what I needed. For example while he's landscaping his garden (The reviewer who said it was full of weeds clearly doesn't know what that looks like) found me a shady corner brought a seat from inside all so I could smoke in comfort. My room was quaint but if you book late anywhere you can only be given the room available at the current rate based on how busy the whole area gets. Any way my room was immaculate and I have never slept as well. I went for one night and stayed five. Breakfast was always a joy. It was Made to measure breakfast that's included. Simply the owner will cook you what you want within reason. He offered to make one guest a fresh chilli sauce for her eggs. How kind is that. The owner is gentle and clever and knows if you want to chat or just chill uninterrupted. I'm never going to stay anywhere else.

A tiny room in this overpriced B&B cost my husband and I £120 last weekend. We were shocked at how anybody could charge that for a tiny room in a rather dingy premises. Weeds in garden. The owner seemed nice, the room was clean and we were happy to be able to walk into Canterbury from the house. But still. Absolutely terrible price, taking complete advantage of high season in Canterbury.

When we arrived we were shown 2 rooms, one very small room in what felt like the basement at back of the house and one on ground level at front of house called the family room but it could only accommodate a family of 3, but we are a couple so decided on this one. Room was ok but I would not say really clean as I looked for the light switches above the bed and found them behind the bed which had clearly not been pulled out and cleaned behind for many months as full of dust and debris, place seemed like it needs to be up dated and full spring clean needed. The man who did not tell us his name was ok at first, very friendly and chatty. We did have to call him back to sort out the TV as it was not working. We were offered a cooked breakfast the next morning as it was Sunday which was a pleasant surprise. We then spent the day and evening exploring Canterbury, on our arrival back no- one had been in our room so the bed was unmade, no tea or milk replenished, so we hunted for these then the man appeared and asked us what we were doing and said oh you must of not left your room till late but we had vacated the room no later than 10.45am but he insisted it was later and must of been after 11am, anyway he did give us the tea and milk. The next morning we went to breakfast at 8.30am but there was no one around at all, we were the only people in the building and kept calling out and even rang the doorbell but still no answer, no breakfast things has been left out, so we decided to call who we now believe to be Roger and he said oh she has not been today and I will call her. After waiting for him to get back to us for 30 mins I decided that I would try to call him again and called 2 times but now went straight to answer phone, I expressed that I was not happy with the situation and that he needed to call me back straight away, but he did not. So we just went ahead and helped ourselves in the private kitchen and had our breakfast. We then packed up as it was our leaving day and left as we did not want it to spoil our day. At 16.16 pm that day he did call and I explained that I was very annoyed as we had paid for a service that we did not receive, he was sorry but I do not know why he did not call back in the morning and explain what was happening then, he did not have an answer for this, but he offered us a discount the next time we stay, but I will never stay there again, service is poor and the rooms on there website do not look like the rooms when you get there and compared to other places we had seen this is expensive and a unprofessional service which I am sure if we had chosen somewhere else for the same money we would have had a much nicer place to stay. Also seen advertised that it has great views oh no it does not not form where we were.
