My daughters treated me here to afternoon tea and a spa treatment. Although I can't comment on the prices I can say that both were just perfect. The staff were attentive, the massage I had was excellent and the afternoon tea was just right. My daughters were given free use of the pool which they both enjoyed. However they were...

Stayed at Canterbury hotel in family room (2 adults and 2 children). Clean room, fab shower, comfy beds. The swimming pool was warm and perfect for our young children to play in. Sauna was a lovely surprise too. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. A short walk into town for sightseeing...

A big warm and clean room. A nice swim and sauna before a big English breakfast. I also had fresh fruit and muffins. Located a short stroll from all the attractions. The on site parking was a huge bonus. We will be returning.

Upgraded room for small nominal charge and hotel was everything we hoped for. Character accommodation was beautiful and despite being cold on arrival this was rectified immediately. Service from check in to leaving was first class including breakfast and the opening of the bar late evening was appreciated so that a drink could be taken upstairs! The only disappointment was...

myself and two friends were going to a nearby beauty salon so called in here on the off chance of a coffee as there were no cafes close by. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating-the waitress went out of her way to make sure everything was as we wanted. It is a shame it is a little out of...

What a beautiful little hotel. When we arrived the staff were really friendly. The room was modern, clean and well equipped including robes and slippers. The hotel has a pool and spa and a wonderful little bar to relax in. In the summer months there is a gorgeous rose garden to relax in. A mention must go to the shower...

We booked this hotel after cancelling another hotel (Eversleigh woodland lodges) due to their terrible customer service. Our stay at Canterbury Hotel was exceptional. The room (family room) was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The only reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was food left in...

Spent 4 nights at this hotel whilst working in Canterbury. A nice building with very friendly staff. The only downside is that it is basically a B&B rather than a hotel as it does not have a restaurant for evening meals. I am sure, during the summer months, or during reasonable weather, this would not be too much of a...

The hotel was friendly enough, but there certainly was a lack of festive cheer. Breakfast was nice, but you could feel the stress on the staff when it got a little busier. The family room we were in had a deep red (badly painted) wall and not very good lighting so it was quite dreary overall, as even the furniture...
