I’m currently sitting in the Pilgrims Hotel enjoying my free breakfast that comes with our stay in the hotel. The breakfast is delicious, and one of the best I have consumed in my hotel stays. The quality is superb down to fresh fruit and warm fresh baked croissants. A full cooked breakfast is also available and boast large portions. The...

Booked last minute when there was very little available so took a family room though there was only 2 of us as it was the last room available. We got 2 interlinked rooms, ideal for a family and lots of space for us. A warm welcome, easy parking ( not at hotel but very near) the room was very comfortable...

There are many good things about this hotel. It is a little quirky and characterful, as you'd expect from a hotel of its age. It is very well located and eat to find. The staff are very nice and helpful. However, the breakfast is just ok. And the room (no 7) I stayed was terrible. Barely wider than I am...

This hotel's rooms are well appointed and they have proper-sized single rooms - rather than the box-rooms that I have encountered elsewhere. The breakfast is Full English with top quality ingredients. I congratulate the hotel manger for his diligence in helping me resolve a problem that arose.

Nice hotel, the area is very beautiful, I really recommand it. The hotel is located in the city center, near the main street and the it stay entirely quiet during all the night. The staff are really friendly and attentive!

I travelled to Canterbury on business and stayed at The Pilgrims for five nights. I stayed in room #2. The room was just sad with a stuffy carpeted floor (bring you antihistamines!), a soft & uncomfortable bed, banged-up furniture and ancient windows, no proper space for luggage, and no fridge (something that most travelers would appreciate having). Add the 'lovely'...

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel which is in the middle of Canterbury. My room was a single which was smallish but very clean and comfortable. It had a nicely appointed on-suite bathroom with shower over bath. The room rate included a very nice choice of cooked/uncooked breakfasts with all the usual trimmings. The staff were very friendly and...

Charming historic hotel right in the heart of Canterbury. We were warmly welcomed by the staff who had our room all set up for us, including an extra bed for our third child. The room is on the third floor, and there is no elevator, but the staff offered more than once to help us with our luggage. There were...

This is a small but very smart hotel in a great location directly opposite the Marlowe theatre and a stones throw from the High St. This is an old building which has been tastefully refurbished and has lots of character. The room I was given was very clean had a beamed ceiling and a nice ensuite bathroom. Staff were very...
