I do agree with Niklas in the other post below. It's typically English, very cosy and nice. The stairs are narrow and there are many beams so you can see it's rather old. We liked the room and though our room was towards the street it was quiet. The room had breakfast included and it was served at The Dems...

Room was small but it was spotless and had everything we needed. Car park is quite a walk away. It was a shame the French restaurant was fully booked, menu looked impressive and there was live piano music. Would definitely go back there during another visit in Canterbury.

We stayed at this hotel 12 & 13 February 2017. We both loved this hotel. The location is great. We stayed in the Stour room. It's small but extremely clean (as is the rest of the hotel) and has everything you need. It seems to have been recently refurbished, the carpets are really clean and the bathroom is quite modern....

Took our two grandchildren on a ghost walk round Canterbury and stayed at the Pilgrims Hotel. We had a mini suite (room 6) and it was brilliant! Two interconnecting rooms with an en-suite, two TVs, tea making facilities and dressing gowns!! We got a fantastic deal for one night breakfast included. Cannot recommend it enough, excellent!

Myself and my husband booked here for a 1 night stay as seeing a show at The Marlowe Theatre in January. The staff are fantastic! Very friendly and helpful and polite. The bar is lovely and welcoming and as you walk in there is a fire burning nicely which is a very welcome touch on a cold evening! The hotel...

Had a lovely one night stay at the Pilgrims Hotel. On arrival we were offered discount for 24-hour car parking and a map of where to park (just a couple of minutes walk away). The hotel is situated in a great location and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was not huge, but all the amenities you...

This hotel is brilliant. It has everything you could wish for in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We had room 5 which suited us very well but might not suit a large person. The staff were all very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. We had breakfast in the brasserie. There was a large choice of continental or cooked food....

I stayed at the Pilgrims Hotel for two nights, as I visited beautiful Canterbury for the first time. Firstly, the location of the hotel could not really be better. On a side street off the main street, the hotel is close to the heart of Canterbury but is not noisy, despite being very close to the Marlowe Theatre. It's very...
