Great place to stay. The house is conviently located a short walk from the city centre. The bed was very comfortable and the bowl of love hearts was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend the breakfast vouchers as the Refectory was a great place to start the day with a lovely and helpful staff on hand with dinner restaurant recommendations....

We decided on a whim to visit Canterbury as we have never been before. The cottage has been very tastefully renovated with a nice, comfortable lounge, well presented kitchen and lovely bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs (up the quirky stairs!), there are two double bedrooms which were also very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The cottage is about 10...

We were originally looking for a hotel but found a night here for the same price. We were going out with friends but also wanted a night away from the kids, this was an oasis of calm from our normal lives. The house is spotless, really beautifully decorated and a brilliant location just a few minutes walk from the city...

Great place to stay, good value for money & only 5 minutes walk to the town centre with a free parking space that's a real bonus for the centre of Canterbury. The decor is beautifully & tastefully done with well equipped kitchen, dining room & living room. The entrance is magnificent the 2 gorgeous Murano chandeliers. The owners, Sebastian &...

I've lived in Canterbury on and off for five years and yet had never heard of Arthouse until now, but it was a very happy find. We just stayed for one night and were the only guests so we had the house to ourselves. Our room was clean, tidy and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was similarly...

The property was clean, neat, tidy and tastefully decorated and furnished. We had a nice experience here and the location is perfect, really close to the centre and restaurants. It's really peaceful and quiet. Do not hesitate to book in this stunning and cosy hotel, you will feel like at home. The room had a super comfortable bed and mattress...

We rented the Arthouse for our extended family visiting for our wedding. They were coming for the whole week and as a large group it had been tricky to find suitable accommodation in a central location for a reasonable price. From the beginning of our contact with the Sebastian and Adelle we were very impressed. They were approachable, friendly and...

Spent the bank holiday weekend there and can honestly say that i'd go back gladly! Communication after booking was great, with quick emails and responses - setting everything up was smooth and the price was good. The location is ideal, it being about 5 min walk from the city center and the arrangement for breakfast with a local cafe is...

The property was clean and big enough for three families to have a comfortable stay. The owners, Adelle and Sebastian, were most helpful and tips for attractions and trips around the are were provided. Parking space was big enough for a mini-van. Overall a lovely, well furbished house that I greatly recommend.

We have spent a night at the arthouse, were looked after fantastically by our hosts, who although not at the property were on hand instantly when needed. This B & B is in a great central location for the all bars, restaurants and Marlowe theatre. Would recommend it to anyone and intend returning ourselves.
