Cannot help but disagree with most of the previous posters comments who was obviously looking for things to complain about, some of them unwarranted and some completely ridiculous (like dust BEHIND the bedside cabinets - who on earth moves the furniture around to try and find fault)? Yes, some of the decor is old fashioned but I considered it homely,...

Our experience at the coach house was disapponting. Yes, the building is nice(ish) and the position too, and... that's pretty much it, on the "plus" side! The bnb is run by a family of with kids, which evidently lives in the very building. Trouble is that (at least during OUR stay) these kids started to play in the garden with...

Ben & Joanna were great! We came down as a group of guys to Canterbury for a music festival so we were not the easiest of customers. But their hospitality was unwavering and they always made us feel welcome. Location is great, tucked into a quiet side road a stones throw from main marketplace. Highly recommend.

Our room was very comfortable, on the top floor with a separate, private bathroom, which was great as it meant we did not disturb each other in the night as can happen with an en-suite. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable with all necessary facilities - the hair dryer was missing, but as soon as we pointed this out...

My wife and I, along with our young son, thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Coach House in March. We had been told by friends in England that one day would be enough, but because of our little one we decided on spreading out the travel days and we were glad we did. Our only regret is that...

We were only able to stay one night at the Coach House, which was a shame. It is excellently situated within the town walls, with all the main attractions within easy walking distance. Our room was on the first floor - could have been a little noisy as it overlooks the street, and had a separate private loo, but this...

As soon as we ran the tap in the sink an unacceptable smell filled the room. We could not stay and had to quickly find other accommodation for the night. Nevertheless the management charged us for the room. Completely unacceptable in all respects.

From our point of view, there was no smell when the guests checked in and when the smell was reported we could not identify its exact source. Nevertheless we offered to move the guests to another room straight away but they were not interested and wanted to leave right away. Although quite unpleasant the smell wasn't as bad as reported,...

Really great central location with 1 min walk to shops and restaurants/cafe's. The owner was very helpful on arrival providing a full English breakfast each morning. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a central B&B. The double bed was really comfortable and we both slept really well both nights. The best part for us is...

Stayed with friends for the weekend at this lovely property. It is very central and everything in Canterbury is within walking distance. The room was clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds. There is a choice for breakfast of full english, crepes or omelette all cooked to order. There are also cereals, toast, yoghurts etc and lovely fresh juices....

This family run B&B is right in the heart of the city and not that far a walk from the rail and bus stations. Myself, my daughter and my sister shared a triple room with its own private bathroom up on one of the top floors. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a very relaxed affair and was all freshly...
