Booked direct, the correspondence was first class from booking to arriving. Quite taken aback by the superb quality of the room & bathroom. The proximity to all St Albans can offer & a "folder that works" in the room was a great help. Good food within 10 minutes walk to high end eateries listed in a easy to read manner....

This is the second time I have stayed at Fleuchary House and would like to move in permanently! Linda is the consummate host and her attention to every little detail ensures an extremely pleasant stay. The ensuite rooms were faultless and the breakfasts were wonderful. On both occasions I stayed for a week and felt right at home. I cannot...

The room is most definitely traditional with lots of flourishes and sumptuous fabrics. There is enough room and the bathroom cum dressing area is very large with a four poster shower in the middle of the room. The breakfast is exceptional with locally sources bread and ingredients The service including organising the parking was very good

Absolutely excellent 2 night stay. A warm welcome from Linda, a car parking place, a room to rival a country house hotel and a breakfast to match, served in a superb room. Totally recommend this place. Although we didn't need the train, it's only a short walk to the main station.

A fantastic guest house where your every need will be catered for. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Linda, the proprietor, who showed us to our room, which was of the highest standard. After a good nights sleep the full English breakfast, served in the beautifully decorated dining room, was not a disappointment. Apart from the usual expectations of a...

I booked in here at the last moment, when I was working in St Albans and it became clear that I was going to be there for a few days. The landlady is a gem. Nothing is too much for her The rooms are superbly clean and the bed I had was really really comfortable. Rarely do I sleep well...
