Had a fantastic stay here again just last Saturday. Linda is a fantastic host and the breakfast is superb as always. Great new bread too.... The location of the B&B is perfect and the room is so comfortable. Thanks again!

Managed to get a late 1 night booking , so we're very lucky. And we were so pleased to have made this our stay in St. Albans. Our whole experience from the warm greeting, the room, the sleep, the breakfast - I cannot fault, and if we are ever to visit St. Albans again, this is where we would stay,... More

I believe this is my 3rd review of No 29 and it most probably wont be my last. Stayed for 5 nights whilst visiting family and friends in St Albans and it's truly like returning to my UK "home from home" Linda ( and Millie, the family dog) great me as a family friend.....on site parking, gold room ( my... This guest house is simply the best! No one who is in the know and has stayed previously would dream of staying anywhere else. We lived in St. Albans for more than 20 years and regularly visit family there. We always stay at Fleuchary House unless we've left it too late to get a room and have to go elsewhere.... More

Many B&B's claim to be "home away from home" but we've discovered the real "home away from home"! Linda is like a caring mum! Why stay in London? It's only 20 min. by train or Uber. Coming from Africa the price is also affordable. With a real English breakfast and good comany we were ready to explore! Thank you Linda,... More

We had a comfortable stay in a nice 3-bedroom (even if it was a little bit narrow) in the center of St. Albans. Parking available, good connections to London (20 min with fast train to St Pancras) from local train station. Beds are comfortable, room is well equipped with en-suite bathroom, flat tv, tea facilities, cookies and best brand tea... More

We stayed here for two nights starting Friday coming home today. It is just perfect, I don't think we could fault it in any way. I think we stayed in the Deer room, which is furnished to a very high standard. The bathroom has a cathedral of a shower and a lovely bath also. There are very nice bathroom essentials... More

We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this great bnb, especially the breakfast. As soon as we arrived we received a warm welcome and were shown to a superb room at the top of this beautiful house. The location is excellent for both the train station into London and St Albans town. The rooms are fitted... More

This delightful late 19th century town house turned out to be, without a doubt, the most elegant, well-appointed BnB I have had the pleasure of visiting. The owner/host was charming and made me feel extremely welcome from the start. The house has had extensive modernization and Accomodation was deluxe in every way. On property parking, a delicious breakfast, info on... More
