I stayed here on a Saturday night recently with a large group of friends. While I have noted in other reviews that the hotel is due to be refurbished, I do hope some of these comments are taken into consideration when the new works are planned. The good - the twin room I was allocated was relatively small but comfortable,...

The outside of the building looks a bit tired but I had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. Our room was clean, well decorated and the bed very comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast, lots of choice and served hot. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Hi there, Thank you for recognising the staff and food. 2 areas of the business that we really work hard at so it is nice when the guests see this too. We hope to see you again in the hotel again very shortly. Regards Bob Bowry General Manager

The outside of the Hotel is beautiful. Looks like a Manor House from the outside. My first point of contact was the guy at Reception who although very warm and helpful, his jacket looked like he had slept in it and didn't give my a great first impression. The first room had a very wobbly toilet seat and was an...

I expected more from Accor to be honest. This place is very dated. Decided to make use of the spa facilities. The lady at spa reception asked if we were "mr & mrs" (not sure why this would make a difference to my 'eligibility' to use the spa, bit of an odd question) when I replied No, she went further...

Good hotel, very clean and the staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet was lovely and staff were very helpful. The down side is the hotel is very very big. Felt like a little mini town. Parking was good. Coming out of the hotel is a big if a nightmare as you drive straight onto a busy roundabout.

Room very clean but very warm -turned air con down when went for dinner and came back to it freezing - couldn't seem to get controls on air con working well. Breakfast and the ever growing crowd of friends atthe one table were handled very well by staff. All staff very friendly and helpful

The hotel is okay but I expect more from Accor. The hotel rooms are tired and need refurbishing, my furniture was tatty and stains on the carpet....not pleasant. Breakfast room is lovely. Reasonable location and a great curry place just up the road - Rami Tandoori.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here while visiting the Harry Potter studio tour. We weren't expecting too much as the room was only £80 however we didn't think it would be a poor as it was. The slow member of staff that checked us in gave us a laugh when we arrived and the fun didn't stop there. We walked...
