We did purchase a groupon voucher for our stay, the hotel was on the main road so traffic noise was a little loud at night - the rooms were comfortable and clean with average décor, they were also extremely warm and stuffy during the night even without the heating on. The evening meal was a limited menu with the mackerel...

Aylestone Court Hotel in Hereford is a lovely old building full of character and definitely out of the ordinary. The lounge is comfortable and has a wide range of books for visitors to enjoy, from classic novels to books on art, history and architecture. On certain evenings guests can dine at the hotel, selecting from a high-quality menu and a...

My husband and I booked this hotel over 6 months ago to coincide with other visits /hotels we had booked in the area. This booking was spack bang in the middle of our other bookings. Since booking, I have phoned twice to confirm room details/arrival time and book a table in the restaurant. We even received an email confirmation for...

Comfortable nights stay as we were up for a family gathering. Felt abit more like a B&B rather than a hotel however. It had a very oldie worldie feel to it, lots of dark wood & big beautiful gold mirrors going up the stairs to the rooms. The rooms are quite spacious with pretty views. Beautiful modern en suite bathroom,...

I would like to start by saying I have NEVER left a review either good or bad before this one but felt this time i needed to share my opinion.... Within 5 minutes of arriving the owner (I think) was what I would consider abbrasive, blunt and rude, customer service and customer satisfaction was downright appalling, no pleasantries at all...

We stayed two nights on a kgb deal and were given an excellent, spacious room overlooking the garden. It was beautifully furnished and I loved the teddies climbing out of hat boxes on the wardrobe! All the public rooms and the staircases were interestingly furnished and very clean. We didn't have an evening meal at the hotel but the breakfast...

A charming building close to the heart of Hereford. Very friendly staff who were able to let us check in early as we had a wedding to attend. The rooms were quite tastefully decorated in a French style chabby chic, and were reasonably clean but not spotless. Bed was very comfy. Shower a little slow with not much pressure as...

I booked a room at Aylestone court hotel in July 2013 after many reviews had rated it top of its class. However, my experience from start to finish was diabolical! Nobody in that establishment has a clue about customer service which is astonishing for the prices they charge! I booked the room online where confirmation was sent through straight away,...

We went using a KGB voucher so I'm not sure whether we got the "budget" version, but ,even so , this is a hotel that we will return to if we ever come back to Hereford. There were a few minor negatives which prevented us giving five stars to an otherwise excellent hotel. The bed was great, there was no...

We've just arrived home after a night stay at this hotel (kgb deal) - evening meal was not included. We asked for a menu and the only main course we liked was lasagne but the charge for this + dessert was £23.00 which sosunded rather expensive for lasagne. We had a drink of port in the bar and were given...
