A great pub serving 1st class food well worth a visit ,I had the fish pie and must say one of the best pies tasted along with the chocolate and orange pudding and custard and my wife had the lamb which was fantastic to eat and to look at . They also have a good range of ales on tap

Twenty four of us celebrated my mother's 90th birthday at this beautifully located, quintessentially English pub in the chocolate box village of Easton. Gary and his staff really did us proud, nothing was too much trouble and the birthday 'girl' thoroughly enjoyed her special day. The food was delicious and all produced piping hot and at the same time despite...

We were meeting friends for lunch who were staying in the Winchester area and we needed somewhere for Sunday lunch that welcomed dogs. The Cricketers is listed on the dog friendly pubs website so we booked there. On arriving we realised we'd visited the village of Easton before but not the Cricketers. The building itself is unremarkable and the interior...

If you are looking for a real bed and breakfast rather than a sterile faceless "room" I would definitely recommend you consider this place. Not only that, the food is very tasty and home cooked - def worth trying the pea and ham soup .. and all served with a smile.

We booked this for an overnight following a family funeral in Winchester, and it is a great place to stay. The food (we had an evening meal and their breakfast) were both excellent value for money. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the peace and quiet that surrounds the area wonderfully relaxing. It is a pub in the great...

Each week we go off-road bike riding. Every week we lunch at a Pub. I herded the group and Poppet into the The Cricketers to receive a warm greeting from the Landlady. A superb meal deal, beer and friendliness puts this pub as one of the very best. My undateable chums agreed. My wife is going to take Auntie Janet...

The Cricketers is in a quiet Hampshire village only about 4 miles from Winchester. The Sunday lunch was superb and all home cooked. Service was friendly and efficient. Excellent tasty food at a reasonable price. I will definitely return !

This could be a great Inn, if only they put more effort in the cleanliness of the bedroom. We booked a 3 night stay over the New Year. The bathroom was dirty when we check inn, stained toilet and sink, dusty cupboard door. There was a whiff in the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was comfortable with good bedding but...

We came off the motorway on our way home and found the pub for lunch by chance. We were welcomed by friendly helpful landlady and staff. We ate from the specials menu 2 courses for £10 and 3 for £12 which was good standard pub fare but home cooked and served piping hot. We were pleased that we came upon...
