We arrived at the very famous Wykeham at around 8pm after a lovely day out in the country, we live around 1/2 an hour from this lovely pub so it's a little treat when we go, we only use it roughly about once a month Paul the bar manager always remembers us with his high turn over of clientele that...

To enjoy the consistency this place endures is not easy, always busy, always great food, always a good selection of beers, and for me, easily the best pub in Britain, outstanding team ensure the wonderful atmosphere is always so welcoming. Importantly, top top value for money. GO !

The Wykeham Arms is a wonderfully well located charming Inn with lovely rooms, good food and friendly service. The walls are covered in interesting pictures and objects and old feel of the place in the quiet lane fits beautifully into the ancient feel of Winchester.

We were in Winchester for an old friends 50th being held at Hotel du vin, we nearly stayed there but are so glad we didn't as The wykeham Arms was lovely and for less money, the staff were faultless, the rooms comfortable and cozy, and the pub full of bags of character and good beer

The Wykeham Arms is brilliant situated for the centre of Winchester. A short walk will see you outside the cathedral and main shopping area. The pub provides delicious food, and a great and quirky atmosphere. We will return again, and will recommend this pub with rooms to others.

Visited Wykeham Arms for a drink on our visit to Winchester. Ordered a pint of London Pride and a cup of tea. The bill came to £7.80. I checked on the price list and the beer was £4.30, so they charged £3.50 for a cup of tea, with only ONE TEA-BAG. To make it worse, the tea was tasteless.

Dear MBHandAABH I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment. I'm not sure how much I can say on this, as I stand by our pricing structure, and as for the cup of tea, well the price you were charged for the tea was for a pot not a cup. And the tea is loose leaf, so not your average, served...

This cosy, comfortable yet hearty pub is the essence of british dinning. The food was full of life and flavour alongside brilliant service and a lovely atmosphere. The perfect treat for those foodies who want to be pampered.

Set in the old part of Winchester close to the cathedral is the Wykeham Arms. Built in the 17th century I believe, full of oak beams and character with a very friendly and homely atmosphere. We came for dinner, but arrived early so we were able to have some drinks outside. Where we were, I would not call it a...

Charming, great ambiance, great food, friendly, warm staff. Great location, highly recommend this 1700's Inn. Tricky access to the Inn due to town road work which has closed the side street. Very ample off street private parking lot in the rear. Great neighborhood hang-out, locals love it as did we. Would return in a heartbeat.

Superb, friendly service. I was given an upgrade on arrival because the hotel had spare capacity. I found the gables, staircases, uneven wooden floors, real fire, tucked away corners with shelves of books and magasines all added to the cosy atmosphere. A wonderful pub and hotel which I would highly recommend. Superb location right next to the cathedral and College...
