Very warm welcome from staff with excellent service. Good selection of wholesome food. My wife and I have visited it several times during short breaks at the Lilliards lodges and they have never let us down. David

The room we stayed in was clean and modern, with good tea and coffee making facilities including fresh milk, always a plus because I really don’t like long life milk pods. The breakfast was excellent but more importantly for me all the staff, we interacted with, were friendly and very customer service focused. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

This hotel is a haven of luxury and comfort. The value for money was unbelievable. I had booked a single room but was kindly upgraded to a double. The room was stylish and comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail. A nespresso machine, tea pigs tea and a bespoke coffee and chocolate pairing selection. There was complimentary water (still and sparkling) and beer! There was even fresh milk. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and had to argue with staff to get fresh milk to my room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had lovely shampoo and shower gel. Breakfast was delicious and there was an excellent selection. Coffee was great. The staff we welcoming and nothing was a problem. If you need somewhere to stay in Southampton this is the place! I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Amazing place! Really comfy, clean, modern rooms with air conditioning, coffee machine and mini fridge. Super comfy bed! Recently refurbished and looking sharp and contemporary. Delicious breakfast using top quality produce. Landlady and staff so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Great location, very handy for city centre and cruise terminals. This is our go to accommodation in Southampton.

This hotel is a real find . A little noisy everywhere because of Jubilee celebrations but by no means a bad thing as nice to hear people enjoy themselves again. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast I cannot praise enough.... porridge for me and was just like I had made it myself, amazing with bananas , blueberry , Greek yoghurt and maple syrup... mmmmmm m ! The other half had a fab English breakfast including a proper sausage and crispy bacon 🥓..... Rooms are well presented and our bathroom you could have a party in .... enormous! A hairdryer and iron with ironing board in room , great coffee and tea selection. Comfy bed n good bedding . If we are this way again would definitely stay here without a doubt . Been a relaxing stay before our cruise to Norway.

An excellent Hotel in a great location. We stayed here to attend a concert at St Mary’s Stadium. Room was lovely and clean, well equipped with everything you might need. Nice mini fridge with plenty of fresh milk, water and a complimentary Fullers beer. Lots of nice touches like chocolates and coffee menu, ear plugs and sleep mask. The hotel has a side access for rooms after hours. We parked in College St car park just across the road. Every staff member was lovely and friendly. Decorated beautifully with Titanic and White Star line pictures. Breakfast was amazingly- go for the Full English. Met Bridget at checkout who obviously loves running this place, she’s doing a cracking job 👍. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone for a shopping trip and weekend away etc- just perfect 🤩

White Star staff are super friendly & helpful. Great restaurant and hang out spot downstairs, with very comfy and well-appointed bedrooms upstairs. The food was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. It is a convenient location for sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night midweek, what a beautiful clean accommodating hotel. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in their restaurant, and although at first we weren’t sure of the choices, we were not disappointed, the food was amazing and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend
