We had a great stay here. Food was lovely, good selection of drinks. Room was cosy and we would like to mention simmi who looked after us at breakfast and was utterly amazing. Would like to congratulate Simmi for being such a wonderful resource for the hotel.
We stayed for one night before leaving our car and travelling to the Isle of Wight to walk the coastal path. Our package included the one night stay of bed and breakfast, parking for a week and return taxi transfers to the Ferry Port. There room and breakfast was good, there was ample car parking and the transfers all worked well. This was an excellent package and good value for money.
Very pleasantly surprised! We booked to avoid Easter traffic. Hotel staff were very helpful and even printed our luggage labels as we had difficulty printing them at home. Our room was very spacious and had all that we needed and more. Ironing board and iron, hairdryer kettle etc. We didn’t eat dinner in the bar but ordered vegan option from Burger King. Reception booked our taxis to and from port as parking at hotel was included as part of our booking. Very good value for money and definitely would stay again.
A lovely clean hotel with super friendly staff perfectly situated for our cruise trip. The bright and cheerful bar was also a magnet to guests of the other hotels in the area, Car parking is good and plentiful supply and the breakfast was the icing on the cake fresh and warm.
Visiting customers and booked into the Holiday Inn near the cricket ground. Excellent value for money, Warm comfortable room . Checked in by Rachel who was very welcoming and extremely efficient. Answered all my queries with charm and patience. Dinner although not particularly special was served by a young man who was polite and helpful. Altogether a very satisfactory stay. Thanks to all concerned especially those mentioned.
