Lovely stay here. Very clean everywhere and a very spacious room lovely comfortable bed and a really tasty well cooked breakfast such good value for money. The bar area very nice and relaxing. The staff are the nicest and most helpful I have ever met at a hotel

Arrived at hotel to be told I can’t park in car park but needed to park in the local shopping mall. Fortunately only next door and a fiver overnight. Staff are really friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t normally write a review, as most people know what they are getting at these hotels, however great service in bar/restaurant and check in. Pleasantly surprised, thank you!

The Premier Inn is a 3-minute walk to Old Town Southampton. It is a neat spot to walk around and see the old wall and buildings. There is a huge Shopping Mall right next door and Ikea is around the corner. Lots of things close by. Also a $7 taxi ride from the cruise ship port.

There were 2 chairs in the room that had stains. Wanted to warm the room up but thermostat range was limited. Warmed up at night. Dead fly and live silverfish in my bed the second night (after cleaners cleaned my room). This made me cringe. Could not make staff aware as no one was there when I checked out. Room needs modernisation

An excellent one night stay whilst visiting family in the area. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable and had all that we needed. There was no noise from other rooms which is always a bonus. We would happily stay there again in the future.

Having stayed in Premier Inn's before I found this one a little disappointing. We booked it for my son's graduation on the next morning and found the rooms quite expensive, although it is during the summer months. We were told we could check in from 3pm and had booked two double rooms, but our rooms were not ready and seemed to be the only two rooms that weren't on the system. The lady on reception was very helpful trying to find Managers to overwrite the system so that we could get different rooms, not next to each other, but on the same floor. We waited for at least one of the rooms to be allocated so that my son and his girlfriend could put their luggage in their and go and meet friends. My room was missing cups and their room was missing towels. The staff were able to accommodate this when we reported it. Parking is at the West Quay car park and this was good value for overnight parking. Breakfast was typical of Premier Inn and both the Cooked Breakfast and Continental breakfast had good choices. Location is convenient for shopping, bars and restaurants. The rooms were the highest price I have paid for before but summer months may cause the price to increase quite a lot. In my opinion Amanda (shift manager) in the restaurant is absolutely outstanding, providing 100% of quality and a very nice, friendly smile every time I'm served by her! Was given the only room left in the hotel, bed very uncomfortable as so low to the floor. Car alarms going of early hours. The worst thing of all was discovering one of the car alarms was our CAR! The window had been smashed and holiday suitcases stolen, in the car park the hotel recommends online and on their phone line! Security at the car park said this is common during cruise season. It's a well known issue and they still recommend you to use this car park. Absurdity!

A functional, pleasant room. Great bed. Unfortunately I left a possession in the room and when I phoned to ask them to hold it for me I was told that there was nothing handed in by the staff. I have a photo of it in situs but the staff I spoke to all told me their cleaning staff were completely trustworthy. This is not the case! I have been treated with disdain by the staff manning the phones and not allowed to speak to the manager by them! Disgusting.
