I stayed here for 2 nights having booked at quite short notice. I arrived by taxi from the airport but noted that there was quite a decent car parking space at the front. The hotel is on a main road but it is set well back and inside my room I couldn't hear road noise at all. I was on... More

Booked at very last minute. Gentleman checked us In early although room wasn't ready. This wasn't a problem as we were able to leave the car in their free car park (mostly unheard of with most chains there). Room was beautiful, looked newly renovated. Hot bath water too. Breakfast hot, toast, tea. No complaints from us! We'll be back.

We booked 2 rooms here for a pre-cruise stay in Southampton. Both rooms (20 and 21) were clean, very comfortable and spacious - 21 is a triple/family. The bathrooms were a good size and had a large bath with a powerful shower above. The rooms have a good size TV with a full range of channels, together with tea/coffee making... More

I need a second night at the Blue Keys who were full and recommended the Elizabeth. A pain to move, but I did get the picture. The Blue Keys is a Pub with rooms who appear to do well with a lot of weekend events. The Elizabeth is more of a Monday to Friday regular hotel. Both are clean with... More

We stayed here as a base for 1 night for a cruise sailing from Southampton, staff very friendly, hotel clean and food in Lizzie's was superb, was able to leave car here for the week at a small charge per day but was well worth it, cost £8.50 for taxi each way to the port. Hotel staff sorted taxi out... More

This hotel is close to everything. Walking is easy and very pretty. Folks were lovely, food was fantastic and the rooms were cozy. We were going on a cruise and took a taxi right to the ship which was a cheap fare. Very quaint, clean, and comfortable. Will stay there again.

The room was a good size with high ceilings and boasted a large bathroom, it was more than comfortable. A taxi was arranged for us to attend the ballet without a fuss. We slept well in the king size bed. And breakfasted in the morning. I have to mention the breakfast. Apart from being perfectly cooked, they has gluten free... More

All depends on your expectations .. this is a lovely well run family owned hotel on the main road into Southampton. It's not a plastic modern place but a comfortable friendly one. Good rooms high ceilings, and car park. The windows are not double glazed and the main road traffic can be heard but it not intrusive. Great place for... More

Our room was decent, shower was nice, beds comfortable. Definitely older style, but also that was part of its charm. No AC, had to open the window, which was on to the main road, but that wasn't a bother. No elevator (lift), which meant we had to drag the suitcases up the stairs...just a bit of a bother. Good breakfast.... More
