I chose to book a room at Elisabeth House Hotel due to recommendation for a pre cruise stay. I booked a superior room. This was very clean comfortable and well appointed. Very good sized room in an adjacent building so very quiet. Good sized ensuite bathroom with powerful shower. The stairs were extremely steep and therefore I packed my over night things in a small case as I had been informed in advance of this by the owner Jamie. I’m glad I pre booked a table for dinner because as a solo traveller did not feel like walking the streets looking for food. Dinner in the bistro was very nice with plenty of choices. In the morning an excellent breakfast was served. Good choice of cereals and yogurts and cooked breakfast to order with hot tea/coffee and toast. Great start to my cruise. I found all staff very helpful despite being extremely busy. I took a taxi to the cruise ship as had travelled by train but believe parking is available for cruising. Would I stay again? Absolutely!!

We stayed in this hotel for one night before going on a cruise. Whilst on the cruise we left our car at the hotel as part of there cruise parking deal. The service was brilliant, very friendly. Hotel room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. No hassle with parking, leaving or collecting the car. Short taxi journey to cruise terminal which the hotel booked for us. The hotel and staff really took the hassle out of getting to the cruise and we had a brilliant overnight stay to kick start our holiday. Will definitely be using the hotel again.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff Stayed prior to going on a cruise, 15 mins walk into the centre of Southampton, 10 min walk to restaurants and smaller shops Had an excellent breakfast then walked into town for a couple of hours before going to cruise terminal. On our return we were kindly allowed to leave the car for a couple of hours while we went into Southampton for another wander round before driving home. Everything about the hotel was perfect, lovely large room and comfy bed, car parking arrangement for cruise was very efficient and excellent value for money Will definitely stay again, thank you x

This is literally the best hotel ever! They’re so sweet, kind and accommodating. We stayed there over the weekend to celebrate my daughters birthday, and it was absolutely magical! We ventured off to Peppa World and came back and relaxed at the bar and had cake with the staff. They’re officially family🥹❤️. The perfect home away from home. We will be visiting very soon❤️❤️❤️ Much love, Bilak Family
