Visited Ennios for an overnight stay prior to cruising. What a pleasure this was, from the very welcoming check into the great bar servoice and excellent food. A real treat to have fine dining, beautiful table linen and glassware. Service was impccable and the food was truly remarkable. Whole sea bass, filleted perfectly at my table with excellent choice of wine. Truly fine dining.
First contact was the employee at the check-in desk. Very energetic, helpful, friendly and professional. Helped us bring our bags to our room, provided us a map of the area and made us feel welcome. The hotel location is perfect. Within walking distance of our Cruise Terminal (15-20 minute) and just across from a pier where I was able to see our ship glide in front of me. Our room on the second floor was very clean, good size, had a beautiful shower and nice amenities. Of note, there was no elevators to reach our room. Supper at the Ennios Italian Restaurant was a really pleasant experience. Food and service were excellent. Given the opportunity to return to Southampton, I would not hesitate to book this hotel again!
Had a wonderful one night stay, the staff were very welcoming and the room lived up to expectations. Slept extremely well in the comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. Fully stocked mini bar should you want it, complimentary water and good selection of hot drink options. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. All in all a hidden gem .. we will be back!
Great Hotel very friendly staff. Well made freshly cooked breakfast. Well situated for all amenities. Have previously eaten lunch there which was excellent. Good value for eating and stay. Best hotel shower I have ever experienced.
Visited Ennios Boutique hotel in May 2022 for one night as going to the Engine Room that night. It was in a great location with the venue being a short walk away. It is close to the dock and about 10-15 minutes walk to the harbour where you will find places to eat. Check in was easy and we had booked a car parking space (£7.95 for 24 hours) which is located at the back of the hotel. We were told that breakfast was included within our room rate but upon check out we were asked to pay for it. The breakfast however was amazing and cooked perfectly....compliments to the chef! The room was very clean and had all the usual amenities and a fully stocked mini bar fridge and complimentary tea and coffee's. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good sleep with no noise. Our room was at the back of the hotel and overlooked a ruin. Nice little hotel and would use again if in Southampton.…
This is a perfect hotel to stay at for a short visit to Southampton or pre-cruise overnight accommodation. It is within easy walking distance of the major cruise terminals and the town centre shops. A big bonus is the wonderful attached Italian restaurant which has an extensive selection of gluten free options. Our accommodation and evening meal were outstanding.
We stayed at this fantastic hotel for a Romantic Birthday treat combined with an event at the Theatre. The room was every thing you could of asked for. Clean, spacious, very comfy bed and lovely shower facilities. Due to timings was unable to experience the fantastic cuisine at dinner time but if half as good as the breakfast you won’t be disappointed. Will be back very soon!
We stay for a romantic evening and theatre break to celebrate a Birthday. Such a beautiful hotel. I loved our room. So stylish and sophiscated. I would highly recommend the hotel. We will come back and eat in the restaurant and stay. The restaurant looked amazing. The owner was so helpful and friendly.
Ennio's Boutique Hotel. We cannot recommend it highly enough, we had a perfect stay. From arrival & being greeted by Joe. Recommending a fantastic restaurant the Banana Wharf as we had to eat early & could not eat at Ennio's itself. The rooms are spotless. Full minibar. Beautiful towels & bedding, so, comfortable. Best breakfast we have had & we have had a few! Thank you to Ben who took amazing care of us & exceptional attentive service. We will be back & next time will eat in Ennio's & enjoy an evening in the bar.
We love the food at Ennio’s it is a fabulous restaurant, we now live out of town and were delighted to learn that we could also stay in their very beautiful boutique hotel. The price is very competitive for the city and is a more ‘comfortable’ stay compared to the clinical multi chain hotels. The hospitality team are so friendly and provide a first class service, helping us with on site parking as well as booking direct. We finished our stay with an amazing breakfast that was made to the same high standards as the restaurant food.
