visited here on an overnight stay. Only needed a clean room, hot shower, a quiet room at the back (as requested beforehand), and a great breakfast. All of these supplied 100% ! Owner also kindly allowed my son (who lived locally) to join me for breakfast (charged for), so that was also very accommodating. Really good b&b, would stay here...

Outstanding service, we really felt very welcome. The rooms were spacious, with an ensuite and really comfortable beds. In the morning we had a full english breakfast waiting for us, with lots of options to choose from.

We stayed here just one night before a cruise, thinking it would be more interesting than a hotel. It was! Very English, from the Portmeirion plates to the chintz curtains. A nice pot of tea and/or coffee was offered when we first arrived. We could get in early - 11AM. There is a nice pub down the street for lunch...

I booked a single room, but because somebody had cancelled, the host offered a double room for the same price. The breakfast was very rich and tasty! The owner is very very nice and hospitable she offered loads of information about Southampton and the surroundings. This was the first time staying at an English b&b, but I definitely enjoyed staying...

A comfortable guest house, with very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Delicious breakfast, good coffee, fresh fruit and hot meals. The bed very was comfortable. A downside for us was lack of air conditioning. We arrived on a very warm day and as it's on a busy road, we needed to close windows at night. The fan provided some...

If you have a vision of an English B&B come up this is probably it periods back to an older time when everything was personal . The place is clean and staff disparity accommodating . Okay, the drawback - the beds are extremely hard. If this is what you like you are in luck. However, we had a very hard...

We booked one night stay on the eve of my daughter's graduation and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The lovely lady proprietor was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and pillows great. The breakfast was superb, a variety of cereals was available and we enjoyed excellent...

Proprietor was so helpful and friendly. I messed up the booking but she was able to sort my husband out with a room with no fuss. She also kept a parking space for his large car when he was returning late and in the dark. Would very happily book again. Many thanks.

Stayed one night here, room a bit noisy as on main road, and I like to have the window open at night, but apart from that very nice, would definitely recommend. Tea and coffee, and bottled water in room,. Breakfast amazing, fresh fruit (and lots of it!), all types of cereals, beautifully freshly cooked breakfast, toast etc, can't fault it.

I called to book this as my dad had just arrived in the uk and I hadn't seen him in years, we arrived at 11.00 am and our room was already prepared for us, the room was large and bright and clean, the breakfast was AMAZING and all fresh and local couldn't ask for better. I would recommend and as...
