Unfortunately we were only booked for one night, but would have been happy to stay longer. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was cosy, the shower/washroom could have been a little larger, but access wasn't a problem.

We stayed on a Friday night, to catch a ferry the next morning. The staff were young but friendly and efficient. We had asked for a quiet room by internet and that was very much taken into account, giving us a room at the back and nobody above. The room was a good size, light, comfortable. Cooked breakfast was good....

I was pleasantly surprised on the size, quality, cleanliness and hospitality. The bed was super comfy and we had our own patio, 2 tv's and a living room. The shower was amazing too! Breakfast was included and the service was great. A little but further from the Gunwarf, but close to some other nice sights and center shopping area. Very...

We had a lovely warm greeting from Becky who showed us to a really delightful room. We explained that we may have to skip breakfast as we had an early departure the next day. Becky suggested that we give her our breakfast order and she would arrange for it to ready as soon after 7.00 as possible. At 7.01 our...

I booked this hotel for a nights stay as a surprise for my partners birthday. The location is great, if you drive you will have no problem getting around however there does appear to be limited parking. Neither myself or my partner drive and still found the hotel to be a great location, there is a bus stop right outside...

The double room we stayed in was lovely. Small and cosy with lovely decor. Tea and coffee was good too. The breakfast included was from a set menu. Only thing missing on the breakfast for me was beans lol I am bean crazy though. We got a taxi to the guildhall but I'm sure we could of walked. Would definitely...

The staff were friendly and very helpful, but not in your face. They suggested we amend our dinner reservation at their sister pub, The Florence Arms, to take advantage of the early bird discount. And they did it for us. We arrived having missed lunch so ordered sandwiches in our room. A full dinner plate of sandwich with salad plus...

Stayed overnight for business (my wife was also with me). Great location just off Southsea shore near the pier and on a bus route. Staff were friendly and helpful as they were th last time I stayed. Ground floor room was a little on the small side but still more than adequate and other than a delay on our breakfast...

With plans suddenly ruined, my boyfriend and took a spontaneous trip... 1. LOCATION: 3min walk to sea front and 8-10 min drive (once you know the route!) to gunwarf quays - overall perfect for 1st time Portsmouth visitors. 2. STAFF: i'm so sad that I cannot remember the name of the 1st staff member we met. She had red hair...
